Does anyone have experience with bitbuy.ca? I'm looking for a safe place to buy alt coin. I've used shakepay in the past

I also use Shakepay. What is it about Shakepay that you are looking at another place to buy/sell btc? My friend uses Wealthsimple and he seems to like it but I’m hesitant as Wealthsimple is a brokerage and will issue a T5008 for equity trades and I’m not sure what they will do with BTC.

Shake pay doesnt have bitcoin or xrp.

Shakepay doesn’t have Bitcoin? Lol. Not sure what I’ve been buying and selling then.
And as for XRP, looks like Ripple’s troubles with the SEC is just starting and sellers are delisting it.

i have never understood how you convert btc to cash particularly in large amounts? from what i have found thus far you can cash out at a special atm dedicated to btc but how would it work if you wanted to cash out say $100k? and if you managed to deposit into your regular bank account wouldnt you be charged a capital gains tax? to me it seems it is only useful for using online and not practical as a main currency.

Buy gold with it if you want something physical and cash in gold when you need cash. Bullion dealers like BTC. Easy to do. Easy to store.You can fit 100K in gold in your pants pocket.
