So I go to advertise on BP today and my Bitcoins are gone...wtf?? Yesterday after I set up post I still had over 10$ worth of bitcoins. Wondering if this has happened to anyone else? I have contacted BP in an attempt to get my bitcoins back but who knows. Very strange.

Hi. Get ahold of terb member agentorange. He is like Einstein this guy. He's very helpful and so nice. I'm definitely going to scratch his back! Lol

Candi doesn't like me because I suggested on another post that Bitcoins might be confusing for some SPs. :p

>>Most girls can't get a credit card? Or figure out how Bitcoin works? Ouch that's a bit harsh.

I'm just bugging you, Candi. No hard feelings. :)

There seems to be two ways to go. One is to fund your BP account through Bitcoin, the other is to fund a bitcoin wallet. With BP, I'm guessing they deduct from your balance each time you place an ad, and then you replenish the funds when they run out - or when BP steals all of your Bitcoins, which it seems they just did.

I've helped about a dozen girls so far, and I have them set up a Paxful Bitcoin wallet and just have BP charge that account, just as though it was charging a credit card. That way, BP only gets your money when you post your ad, and (oxymoron alert!) your money is safe in the Deep Web's version of a bank account. Now, millions of $$$ of bitcoins have disappeared from Bitcoin exhchanges, wiping out every client's wallet, so things can disappear just as easily in a Bitcoin wallet as they can in a BP account.

Basically, this is a long winded way of saying that I don't know what happened to your BP balance. My guess is that highly paid IT professionals are having just as hard a time figuring out Bitcoin as highly paid SPs are, and something has messed up on their end that they will fix, but not likely until the offshore software development teams get back to work on Monday, Bangalore time.

If you need to get an ad up ASAP, shoot me a PM and I'll put it into rotation for you for a couple of days until you figure out your BP issue.

By the way, if any other girls are having a hard time with Bitcoin, let me know. There are a few vultures out there charging a fee which I think pushes the line of 'taking advantage of people' which I don't like. I'm not charging anything so long as the girls are actually interested in eventually learning how to do it themselves, which as Candi stated in that other thread, isn't all that hard when things go smoothly.

Wonder if this is some sort of a Scam - worldwide I'm sure, not just on BP.

Hate to say it, but ever since this BITCOIN thing came out on BP, all of a sudden a lot of SP's are having trouble setting up ads, which was never a problem before (at least not on the boards)....hmmm...just makes me wonder, hopefully I'm wrong.

At least with a cc you have "somewhat" of an insurance for incorrect purchases, wonder if Bitcoin offers that - hopefully the do??? And can fix this error???

Good luck Candi !!

Just my two bitcoins.....um cents.

Thanks agentorange but I wasn't having a problem setting up or getting bitcoins. Appreciate the help though. My bitcoins vanished from my BP account. I previously paid BP a larger amount of bitcoins instead of paying bitcoins one at a time. It's all good I just went and got more bitcoins lol no big deal. Still wondering where they went though??? I will not be paying in large amounts just in case this happens again. Now just 1.00 canadian at a time:) Lesson learned

Yes George W Bush it definitely seems suspect. Had more than 10$ canadian left on my bitcoin account with BP that somehow has disappeared. Still haven't gotten a reply from BP offering any reason as to where this money has gone. Now I know this is not a lot of money but God Darnit a women just wants her bitcoins....lol....:)

To a single... as in An individual person....$10 may not seem like much...BUT..as with anything on the net these days...if it CAN be Stolen...someone will try....
In this case..
$10 in bitcoins..multiplied by a world wide theft ring to say steal..10,000,000 Bitcoins accounts...or more?...it ads up

Exactly. Well clearly that's happening. I doubt I'm the only one this happened to. At least it's now out there so other ladies like myself know to just pay per use the 1.00 canadian through ur wallet account instead of sending larger amounts to BP. Take care
