I'm glad her famous, high demand appearance is warming hearts. I don't know who's hearts she's warming, but at first glance, she ain't warming mine. But hey, that's marketing for you. Apparently, her Canadian-wide tour will abruptly stop in Ottawa. Maybe her tour bus ran outta gas? Maybe she needs Serious and Mature clients to get out and push the bus down the road? Just make sure you're really frigging SERIOUS & MATURE!! (...btw - how mature is mature?)

So, who the heck is Flawless Melissa?
And what is going to happen with a No-show?....ya' going to shoot him...have him arrested...give him a rash...oh lord, please No - not a purple-nurpple??

Not sure why this ad annoys you so much. Have you seen her? Is she a scammer? Does she provide poor service? Am I missing something here?

I take offense there should be an assumption that we mature & serious males should just jump at the chance to see this provider just simply because she presents herself as a specialty item. On what grounds is she soooo good?

Re wording of her Ad: Meh - yawn, she doesn't have any history, reviews or other info that I could find that would justify such marketing. One has to have some background to create excitment & announce the "famous" Melissa circus is in town.

I also find it offensive this provider chose to threaten No-Shows with some kind of serious consequence. No-Shows are part of the business. Just like when SPs do double-bookings and don't meet a previously arranged appointment. These behaviours piss everyone off, but that's the nature of things. How does this "very seriously" statement make her Ad attractive to men... hmmmm?

I guess... But I don't get why you're singling this particular girl out amongst the many who state "mature and serious clientele only". She's basically just saying that's the type of clients she wants. And it's an ad so naturally she is positively promoting herself. Would you be less annoyed if she had reviews? Maybe she's new. I'm really not trying to be argumentative and I don't even know the girl but I fail to see why you've singled her out amongst the many providers who advertise using words like "the best" or "the hottest". It's marketing.

As for the part about no shows being dealt with seriously, I agree that will probably do more harm than good as time wasters will most likely deliberately no show just to rattle her chain. I don't think she is saying she will do anything in retaliation, she will probably just immediately blacklist the client instead of giving future chances. That's the way I interpret it anyway. But threatening your potential clients is never good. I don't see much else wrong with the ad otherwise.

I do see your point of view and why your so annoyed…

You shouldn't worry about this… Most gentleman will see right through her marketing stunt… If she can't back it up, the guys that will end up meeting with her will not repeat. She will end up having to change her name, pictures and starting all over.

I had a chuckle when I saw this ad as well. If I'm not mistaken, this is a lady who has been in Ottawa quite a few times before as an SP and a dancer on the Quebec side. I think she told me she was from Gatineau originally. I believe I saw her over a year ago when she was going by the name Kayla. I think she has used Sabrina and other names as well. The regular name changing and now the claim of "famous" and being on a Canadian tour makes me suspect she doesn't have a lot of repeat clients. When I saw her I think it was $180/hour with MSOG and CBJ. It was an OK session but not so exciting that I ever went back to see her again. Having said that, there's no reason to think others wouldn't repeat with her. She's upfront with what she offers and provides it with a good attitude. If you like her pics give her a try I guess.

It's also possible Melissa Ink isn't the same lady that I'm talking about. Maybe someone else can confirm? I'm fairly sure it is because some of the pics are the same ones I think she was using over a year ago. Sorry to be a little vague..

Only now I clicked on the ad and took a look. It does read funny and I believe it has a lot to do with her language difficulty. If you are on terb or cerb, it is not unusual to find ads by French Canadians which, due to the language issue, often read amusing and quite entertaining. I remember the ad by Rosie, the red hair girl, it was quite funny but sweet.

I know I'm late to the party, but, wanted to offer my 2% worth. Her ad seems fairly typical. Boasting about her apparent success wherever she goes. From her services mentioned, I would have passed right on by her because of the wording in her ad. If I mention specifics, I would be inviting the league of "holier than now" to voice opinions on my preferences and how they are wrong. Fact is they are my preferences and not someone else's. When I find out that my wants are not included, it's time to move along to another ad. Voicing my opinion by where I spend my $. Only problem now is that the SP's I have encountered have lied about their services and "change their mind after they get paid. Need to be more vigilant about our reviews. Me included.

Poor advertising bothers me and this is a god example of poor advertising. I don't like when brands make unsubstantiated claims. When a girl wants to build herself up without any real substance to back it up...I would classify that as bad advertising. I'm not sure, but I think this may be what is fueling the OP's disdain for the ad.
