Is $280 a good price for the Blackberry Curve 8320 brand new? I am looking for a phone that I can do my posts for terb and check my pm's. A couple of weeks ago someone gave me a Blackberry phone dont know what kind and I could get onto every website accept for terb. Is that because I didnt download something? Anyways I no longer have that phone and need a new phone. Anyone got any hook ups?

Thanks for letting me know I did get an iphone with my fido contract and then cause I am little bit clumsy and cant text that well I found texting was easier on BB so I traded my iphone with someone who had a BB. And then my BB got smashed so I am looking for a new phone but I need something inexpensive without a contract. But you are right maybe I should go back to the iphone.

A 3G device is a must for surfing the net, anything else is painfully slow. iPhone 3G or 3Gs are both fast, I'd pay a little more for the 3Gs, since it has faster speed compability for future network upgrades.

Blackberry 83xx devices are not 3G, and slow for web surfing, but great for email. I have an 8900 (given from work) and it's very slow compared to my iPhone 3G for surfing. If you must get BB then get the BOLD on a Rogers/FIDO networks or the TOUR if you're Bell/Telus, they are 3G devices.

Palm Pre is an option too, 3G device and has touch & real keyboard. I didn't like my iphone for typing at first but now I can actually type faster than on my 8900. It's "touch" typing in the purest sense, very fast.

I browse and post on terb all the time from iphone with ease.
