Ouch! He had such a fall from grace in such a short time. I saw an interview with Farrell when he was first sent down and it was my impression that he didn't think much of Lind. Did anyone else see that interview and get the same impression? Now, I realize that Lind might have deserved to get sent down but to me the interview took a more personal turn like Lind had attitude issues.Adam Lind will be paid his MLB salary of $5.15M for this season & the sam for the 2013 season, should the Blue Jays decide to cut ties with him at that point, they will pay him another $2M.
Based on a vague blurb I read the term "clubhouse issues" being used. Very brief and the only time I read it.Now, I realize that Lind might have deserved to get sent down but to me the interview took a more personal turn like Lind had attitude issues.
Perry, based on his growth as a defensive 1st baseman, I don't think he stopped working. While he still was a work in progress at first, he had made huge strides.Well, if that is so, then Lind could be one of those guys who worked his butt off (in 2009) to get himself a fat contact and then coast...
To me, on the many occasions I saw him sitting on the bench between innings on TV this season, he appeared flustered... and, mostly, sitting by himself...
I am sure there will be much more to come on the Lind story, so let's not jump to conclusions!
Perry
If you pay me $2 million I'd go away too.Adam Lind will be paid his MLB salary of $5.15M for this season & the sam for the 2013 season, should the Blue Jays decide to cut ties with him at that point, they will pay him another $2M.
... I can't wait for Sunday. It'll be my first game since Olerud (Sp?) was batting .400 lol.Red Sox this weekend and Jays need to win the series. This division is so close, Jays are 4th but just 2 games out with the leaders playing each other.
Sox are coming on so lets hope the Jays are ready for them. That series sweep against the slumping Orioles has to be a confidence builder.
GO JAYS!!!!
Can you give me your Yunel Escobar bobblehead?... I can't wait for Sunday. It'll be my first game since Olerud (Sp?) was batting .400 lol.
It's really nice to see the support our team has this year. I was a total stats junkie back in the day.... I am a huge fan again.
GO JAYS!![]()

Insight is one thing, but it is up to the guys on the field to execute. Starting pitching hasn't been awesome but it wasn't the worst either. The starting pitching has kept them in for the most part this series. The bullpen (again) are the guys letting 1/2 run deficits turn to 3/4 runs. The hitters are also not coming up with timely hitting, and as usual the defense has cost them games.SPs are currently the weakness.
Why is it playing teams like TB and Boston seem to bring out the worst in the team. You'd think Farrell would have brought some insight with him when he joined the Jays.
So how fast can Vlad get up here now, lol.Edwin just nailed pretty good on the wrist. Hope is okay. That would really suck. That's the way things seem to go for the jays though. A guy having a career break out year and nailed bat on the wrist.
