So Bonifacio Gets dropped completely then when Lawrie gets back, Or gets moved somewhere else.

Or maybe move him to the dh spot and drop Lind to the unemployment line.

Or platoon Bon and Izt depending if they need D or O. Bon can also play outfield.

There is some versatility there.

Good lord, Lind and his big helicopter swing sucks. Put Rasmus and Arencibia behind EE and at least your rallies have a chance of continuing.

What happens if bonifacio has no more errors the rest of the season? Is that acceptable? Who do you put in anyway?
good points. just asking. hope its not a trend thats all. i dont know much about baseball but it seems like his defending has been questioned?

Well certainly you don't want that to be a trend that continues, but he has played decent defense the rest of his career so you can't throw in the towel on the guy 8 games into the season. At least not in my opinion anyway.

yeah definitely would not make any conclusions this early on. may just bring up a question if he is off his game for some particular reason.
i personally think they just need time to gel. are they a 100 win team you think?

I think they are a 90-95 win team which should get them in the post season. I have the starters pegged 70-75 wins and the rest of the staff should be able to scrap together 15-20

sounds reasonable. will be interesting to revisit in september. with my limited knowledge i would say my greatest worry is RAD
does he need 20 wins to get this team to the post season??

Now that I think of it. 75 might be a bit high, 70 is probably more accurate. I'm calling RA, Morrow, Johnson and Buehrle the Big 4. If RA has a bad year and only gets 10 wins, hopefully two of the other guys get like 17 and one has an average year in which he gets 15. That leaves Happ to only to have to get 11. Hopefully Brett Ceicil, Santos and Delabar, Jansen, plus who ever ever else can muster up 20.

I feel like Im stealing the concept of money ball....lol.

yeah i think averaging 15 wins for each of 5 starters is optimistic. 13 or 14 on average is probably right which puts you at 65 to 70.

Those starters better get to work then, because Happ is the only starter with a win so far

Less then an hour to first pitch in Detroit.

Weather report says it is +2 with a 60% chance of rain(or snow ?).

Johnson(0-0) starts for the Jays, Fisher(1-0) for the Tigers.

I heard Lawrie might be back for the weekend series with the Yankees.
