I find that my size can vary but not by 1.5 inches , guessing 3/4 to an inch.

As to why, i can only surmise that since erections start in the brain the strength of the impulse or nerve signal that the brain sends to the penis is sometimes stronger. If for instance I am in a strip bar and I see an outstanding girl I might get a bigger hard on than if it was a regular.
