I was first exposed to this type of amazing music about 5 years ago because of a Brazilian telenovela called "Laços de Familia" which was dubbed in French on a Quebec channel. Funny, I don't speak French or Portuguese, but that didn't stop me from watching this sexy soap opera because of the lovely babes and cool music in the show. Always loved hearing the opening and end credits because lots of times they would play the song "Corcovado" and combine wonderful artistic imagery to the music.

I have to travel to Brazil one of these days...

Anyone else ever watch this soap before? I loved it!!! LOL

Haven't watched that one.
Brazilian novelas are quite popular also in Spanish speaking countries. This one , Siete Pecados, I came across when I was in Costa Rica last December, dubbed in Spanish. I think their Channel 7 was airing it before noon then.

Opening theme from Siete Pecados : Carne e Osso -by Zélia Duncan
