Not a bourbon drinker, but the father-in-law is. Go figure, he'd from Quebec. I would like to buy him a good Bourbon for Fathers Day, for under $100 that he can't get in PQ, but don't know much about bourbons. He's coming for a visit, can't avoid it. Any suggestions?

The last requirement is going to be difficult, as I can't imagine that PQ would get anything less than pretty much what we get in Ontario. Booker's is an experience. $70 or so.

Here's a really enthusiastic review by an exceedingly knowledgeable connoisseur: http://sourmashmanifesto.com/?s=booker

Knob Creek single barrel if you can find it is great! if not regular knob creek is good, as well as Woodford estates

Thanks for all the input. After careful consideration and testing, I had to try it, I'm sure it will be a hit. Basil Hayden also available in Quebec should the father in law decide to get a second one, but go figure $2.00 cheaper.
