I know. Truth can be painful. Especially to those who insist on looking the other way.
OMG, he had parties with SW's and strippers!
OMG!

Living the dream a little recklessly but hey, at least he didn't pretend to work at the white house.

SOP to go easy on gun charges by themselves. If the gun is associated with any kind of actual gun crime (murder, assault, intimidation, etc.) it's a whole different story.
Want the IRS to go easy on you? Pay the money up front. While there is nothing illegal about this, it's a rich man only option. Remember the line from "The Big Easy? "I believe that everyone is entitled to the best defense that money can buy"...
T'is true.
And, I think you can even say Joey Biden bent over backwards to not mess around with this investigation. He kept a Trump appointed prosecutor on the case, even if he could have replaced him (like he did with more other Trump appointees, as is tradition with a new administration). And there are a ton of comparable for the income tax issues. Roger Stone was able to avoid jail time by pleading guilty and paying back taxes of around $2M.

Honestly, I could don't really care about Hunter Biden. If he broke the law, I think he should suffer the consequences. Is he getting off because of privilege? Yep, the privilege of having money (or benefactors with money).

However, I still think it is hilarious for the righties to pretend there is a two-tiered justice system in place here because of Trump's more severe charges....because he committed a more severe crime! I don't think they understand that obstruction of justice is a big fucking deal to prosecutors. It doesn't matter if you think you're innocent or righteous, fucking around with the investigation will result in jail time. And, of course, lying to the government...Keeping highly classified documents, etc.

More than just operatives, as they were very close associates that actually worked in the Whitehouse under his tenor. Several of them!!
What is wrong with one on the other side of the spectrum being pardoning his family member!!
Remember that Stone got away with no time at all, as he was pardoned like little darling. His tax evasions amounts dwarfs Hunter Biden's. Yet Hunter has a Probation period!!
Why are we talking about pardons?
No one has pardoned Hunter.

So as long as you commit a lesser crime you should go free?
Hang on.
Is your position that every single case should go to trial and every single crime should result in maximal sentencing?
No plea deals of any kind for any criminal in any way?

How do you feel about Jared and Don Jr.?
They aren't Democrats and can't be used to show how Joe Biden is corrupt and all Democrats are corrupt and that Butler was right all along.
Why would Butler need to have an opinion about them?

Sort of like rump paying of Stormy and claiming it as an election expense?
Except for 1/500th of the cash?
Not only there was nothing illegal about it, she ended up owing HIM money. Hunter just charges it to the taxpayers. Like father, like son.

I was giving Butler the benefit of the doubt and a chance to prove he isn't a right-wing mouth piece idealogue. It's Friday and I'm feeling generous.

Oh Buddy, no!

You're one of those "no plea deals" people, aren't you?!

Do you have any fucking idea just how much the justice system would cost if there were no plea deals and everything went to trial?!..... It would cost more than the US defence budget and the US social services budget put together. I have read some dumb, vindictive, grade school nonsense from you in this thread, but that pretty much takes the cake!!!

You have finally ascended to the pinnacle of TERB silliness.

No, he just posted the ultimate horseshit, pseudo-lawyer dumminess.... The "let's not have any more plea deals" dumminess!

It's the ultimate ludicrous laypersons comment on the justice system. It's the ultimate, absolute confession of self-important foolery. I stand aghast. Buddy has so often posted dumb shit on this board. But not even Mitch is dumb enough to post the "let's not have any more plea deals" idiocy.

Buddy jumps the shark with this one. He can never post anything dumber.

The problem is in Butler's world he's the smartest man on campus. LOL

Anyway his Child support trial is coming. And what is interesting about that is his financials are coming under full scrutiny there. It may also include who bought the art and where all the money went. His attempt to lower child support settled in 2020 may result in some serious repercussions.

And on another note the fact he is fighting to stop his own child from taking his last name says quite a bit about his character.
Yeah. Hunter's an asshole. We all know that. We've all read everything you post about Hunter 100 times before. And we not only agree with it, but we laugh about how awful Hunter is!
