I dont see anything wrong with implants. Im a female and sadly I wasnt born with boobs. I have a naturally thin frame (I can barely get to 105 lbs) and I eat plently. Well I had an A cup and it wasnt going to get bigger...
If you don't mind me asking what your age is? You certainly don't have to answer of course - just curious. I ask because I was in the same boat until about 25 or so. I ate a lot and still couldn't get up to 100 lbs. if I tried. When I was about 21 I even asked my doctor for advice on putting on weight. She just laughed and said to be patient and that in a few years I'd be wanting to lose weight. Didn't believe it at the time, lol.

Of course big perky natural boobs are the best.
But I'll take well done fake boobs over a flat chest or saggy naturals any day. Just MHO.

The Globe and Mail has an item on breast implants today: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/life/health/new-health/andre-picard/are-breast-implants-a-form-of-mutilation/article2304457/

There have been about a half dozen times where I've had a session with an MPA with implants, all inadvertently and never a deliberate choice on my part. Fact is, I can't stand implants and I seriously wonder why any girl would choose to undergo that surgery if it's for no more than ego enhancement. (I do understand it when it's after a mastectomy, however.) I suspect the majority of men on this board also far prefer natural breasts over implants, though I may be wrong. So, what are your thoughts on this article?
Believe it or not women usually get breast implants to please themselves, not men. Cllothes look and fit better with something on top. It is not about ego.

Um, it's available! (warning - seriously scary images at that site)
Also available in TORONTO!!! No excuses, if you want it, you got it. The site says the surgery takes place in an "ambulatory facility." Does that mean a van pulls up in front of your house and you get in it and they give you a weenie extension? Someone must try this! I want a first hand report! http://www.psurg.com/penis_enlargement.htm

Oh... so it isn't a van. Though from the photos, one might surmise it is a trailer. No, it has an elevator you can use to escape via underground parking, they say. I woulda done it if they came to my house and did it in a van in my driveway. But actually, I'm already huge... http://www.psurg.com/WELCOME.htm

Every woman wants to look in the mirror and like what she sees-purely from an aesthetic standpoint. I like small boobs, some ladies like them large, some like blonds, some like brunettes and the list goes on. If you don't like bolt ons don't get them!

As already mentioned, I dont think all women with implants got them to appeal to men. But even if they did, you can't deny that a lot of guys like them (even if you may think they are the "wrong" kind of men).

I know there are guys out there who like smaller boobs or implants are a dealbreaker for them, but I think if you google "assymetrical boobs" you'll see cases where you'd really believe the girl is better off with some cosmetic enhancement.

I work in a strip club so I probably know more girls with implants than the average person. Most of the time, the implant will "settle" after a few years and sag enough to pass for a natural breast. And depending on the material, they can also feel very natural. I agree that badly done breast implants (ie wierd shape or too far apart) are unattractive. But often you can't tell. On the flip side, I have natural C-cup breasts and customers sometimes ask me if they are implants.

Now, I'm sure some believe that getting implants is just unnatural and shallow no matter what they look and feel like. Personally I dont think it's worth the health risks, especially if the woman is planning on breastfeeding later. But hey, it's not your body. A lot of body enhancements are more socially accepted... hair dyeing, piercings, tanning, contact lenses, tattoos... even getting braces. Wearing a push-up bra.

Why do men feel particularly deceived by breast implants?

What are the thoughts for over-the-muscle versus under-the-muscle implants?

This.

Also, the men who are against breast implants tend to be a very vocal minority. Perfect boobs are always better than imperfect ones, fake or real.

Since everyone has a different opinion of what perfect is.......Oh and I think you are wrong, I think the majority of men like natural. Probably because their idea of implants is what they see in porn, strippers, mpa's and yes, escorts - the outlandish double d's and EE's that look like inflated baloons are just plain ugly. If all implants were b's and c's you would probably get less gripping.

Maybe you're right and perfection isn't a shared concept, but I think there's a general consensus on what NOT perfect is. Any kind of asymmetry or excessive sag isn't going to be most people's definition of perfect. The round 800ccs that you notice, sure, I get why someone might not like them but there are so many great BAs that you'd never guess were fake (including a set of definite fakes posted in the Lounge this week asking if they were real or not!).

I stand by what I said. I think for most people, the closer to perfect they are the more they're liked. Some people's definitions of perfect include "no surgery" but not most. Many people in the adult industry (which is VERY visual) notice income increase after their operations (and not just from confidence, although certainly aided by it).

For the record, I absolutely adore breast implants. I like women who look like superheroes: big breasts, tiny waists, giant hips/ass/thighs, please! More than that, there's something that really turns me on when I think about someone having them, like they've made themselves hypersexualized or ...I'm not sure how to articulate that. I'd like a pair of perfect, big-to-the-almost-point-of-being-obviously-fake-but-you're-always-wondering, silicone gel, over-the-muscle implants.

(I think I like them to the point of it being a fetish. I'm obsessed. Check this site, I think a lot of them are improvements (not all!))

Personally I have nothing against breast implants or enhancements, so long as the surgery is conducted by a skilled medical specialist; indeed, in a particularly skilled surgeon's hands it can be very difficult to tell that these women's breasts are not natural.

I have read elsewhere that due to the money factor an increasing number of physicians have been specializing in such practices, and there are bound to be cases of particularly poor jobs being done. Therefore, any woman considering such surgery should really do their homework and research the credentials of the particular doctors involved, how often these physicians have been sued for malpractice (I believe all such information is publicly available); also, the woman really should speak and consult with the surgeon about what to expect, any complications or side effects, the healing period, etc.

Again, just my 2 cents worth.

They're not supposed to be perfect! Nothing in life is perfect.
Besides, those scars no matter how little, ruin the entire thing.

implants can be done transumbilical (through the belly button) or transaxillary (through an armpit incision), those scars are pretty much unnoticeable and do not detract from the aesthetics of the breast, the ones i've seen look amazingly natural and I thought I was good at spotting bolt-ons (friend's uncle is a plastic surgeon)

cons - harder to do properly/symetrically, can't use prefilled silicone implants (they have to use deflated implants which are pumped with saline)
