Yes, but that was because populists lied their faces off about how easy it would be and how good it would be for England.
Now that they've had a few years voters are well within their rights to change their minds.
In a democracy, the will of the people needs to be obeyed.
Sure. So if more than 50% of the total voting public come out to march and protest then I'm sure that can be arranged.

Beyond that it's a minority calling for it.

Like I said before, referendums are not binding. And this shitstorm is not of May's making. She was the Home Secretary when David Cameron and George Osborne (Chancellor of the Exchequer) implemented their misguided economic policy. They followed the Merkel model while issuing plutocratic tax cuts that favoured the rich and pensioners. Even The Economist said that it was a huge risk - with Brexit it bore rotten eggs. Now The Economist will become a Dutch publication.

Sure. If better than half of the total voting population sign a petition with names and verifiable addresses so the petition can be confirmed I don't see why not.
If better than half sign a petition that should be enough on its own to cancel brexit.
Stupid populists lying to the people is reason enough to hold a new referendum, without a referendum.

54% of voters now want to remain in the EU in the latest polls. Even, 80% of those who wanted to leave, think that this whole Brexit was handled badly. Now more than 50% want another referendum.

Like I predicted that this would be a disaster and then the British will wake up to realize that stupid decision that they made. Hopefully, it is not too late to have another referendum!!

They had their referendum and the majority voted to leave the EU. Another case of the minority crying because they aren’t getting their way.
There has been buyers remorse and the Brexit plan is a shambles. There was Russian interference in the referendum....They should have another vote.
