I'm curious to know what browser type and screen resolution the majority of terbites are using.

Note, also, that some internet users are unable to connect at anything faster than 28.8K dial-up speeds due to geographical restrictions. This affects their ability to do view sites with lots of hi-res graphics, animated gifs, etc. that take a long time to load.

That's why I have a 'Fast Info' page with just text and a few thumbnails. Well, that and for people who are brave enough to try and use their PDAs...

when I design, it is in 800x with a stretch.

I just hate what 800 does to text. And graphics. And my eyes.

OK, I hate 800, period.

IE at 1400X1050 anything else is just too bloody big, I like to maximize my space and multi-task a lot

I use Mozilla Firefox ... doesn't have the problems of IE and is supposed to be the "browser of the future" -- from the people who developed Netscape in the beginning
