what intervention caused the islamic invasions of North Africa, Spain, Southern France, Persia, Central Asia and India?

What intervention Caused the Ottoman Invasion of the Balkans, and the siege of Vienna that ended on Sept 11, 1683?
Answer: Jihad!

So sad, the proud Persians were attacked, conquered and converted by Muslim Arabs.

Egypt was once the breadbasket of the Roman Empire. Then they were conquered by Muslim Arabs. To-day Egypt lives on handouts from the West.

Question: Is Western Europe unable to attract non-Muslim immigrants? It seems the only immigrants they get are Muslims,
Like Canada and the US, Europe has people from around the world that want to try Western life. The reason it seems Muslims are prominent in immigration is because some reason European countries allowed waves and waves of unscreened people to waltz right in.

And going by videos, most of the Syrians were normal looking guys. Where's all the women and children and desperate people in rags?

On the other hand, non-Middle Easterners get in line with application process, a fee, and waiting a few years for acceptance.

Trudeau said 25,000 Syrians will come over I think. Interesting. I know people who have family and hubbies overseas and they still have to go through the process. Good people, Canadian resident with decent jobs (to ensure they can support the immigrant), and they have some kind of family or spousal relationship etc.... yet they are the ones getting red tape?

Figure that one out.

Just to show how silly it is when it comes to border control, anyone going to Buffalo has to pass the border. Most of the time it's a quick check and takes a minute. But sometimes you get grilled, and you still have to show a passport, look at him and answer a few basic questions. And that's between Canada and US who are friendly neighbours.

Yet Trudeau says "come on by" to 25,000 overseas people like it's a cake walk, and coming from a hostile environment where there may be terrorists and troublemakers. Illogical.

Per capita, Belgium has sent more fighters to join ISIS than any other nation in Europe. Michael Delefortrie was one of the first, and he lived to return to his home in Brussels. Many of his friends, he says, “went to Paradise.” As part of its upcoming hourlong documentary on extremism in Europe, Fusion’s investigative team sat down with the former altar boy to discuss his views on Islam and jihad.

Just weeks before the Brussels attacks, Delefortrie told us his dream to “live under an Islamic caliphate” would soon become a reality in Europe. ISIS’s brand of militant Islam would not be denied, he said, because “ISIS is not a group, it’s an ideology.”

The Ottoman Empire quashed it for over 500 years. ...
Umm, no. Under the Ottomans there were dozens of major rebellions. It was hardly a place of peace. It would be fair to say that there weren't a lot of Sunni Jihads against them since they were essentially an Islamic Caliphate but they were regularly at war with Persia in the same conflict between Iran and Saudi Arabia right now.

These refugees will also bear children born in Western Europe....
Oh No. Muslims born and educated in the Western way of life?

I have lived that life. A few years ago one of my childhood (Muslim) friends endorsed pure evil; he admitted he preferred the Habs over the Leafs.

The Islamic State group has trained at least 400 fighters to target Europe in deadly waves of attacks, deploying interlocking terror cells like the ones that struck Brussels and Paris with orders to choose their own time, place and method for maximum carnage.

I somehow doubt that 400 number. Considering the point of their campaign is to instill terror I would expect them to grossly inflate the threat they represent.

People like you make things more complicated than they actually are.

People like you foster situations like this with your inaction, misunderstanding, and lack of will.
LOL.

More complicated by saying all Muslims aren't evil?

What's crazy is that in the western world, Muslim's are becoming the new 'Jews', they are now the race that is the target of more racist attacks and state implemented losses of freedom.
...
Not Quite.

Most recent stats in Canada show Jews being the victim of hate crimes around 3 times as often as Muslims.

In the US Jews were victims of hate crimes 4 times as often as Muslims

Hair-Doo's act has NOTHING to do with being a humanitarian,...its simply all about photo ops,...there are as you said millions of people throughout the world in worst conditions, and more deserving than these queue jumpers.
I don't personally have anything against the people Hair-Doo is favouring,...but this really doesn't make him look like some one who should be running any country.

Every thing has been a "cake walk" for him,...but he is about to learn that smiles and selfies does make NOT up for his ineptitude.

Only when you look at hate crimes targeting a religion, instead of race. For instance Muslim is listed as a race as well as a religion, and most of the reports of hate crime are by race, not religion. You'd need to include both those groups, race and religion, to get the real number of Muslim's targeted by hate attacks, which statscan doesn't provide.

But at a quick glance the numbers look fairly similarly, and these are of course just police reported incidents, they aren't necessarily the full stats.
It is important to note, however, that, according to the 2011 National Household Survey, 88% of the Muslim population were also members of visible minority groups such as Arab and West Asian or South Asian, and may also be targeted by hate crimes motivated by race or ethnicity
From statscan.

The National Council of Muslims is tracking hate crimes, there numbers look higher then statcan.

The US has some issues with how they label race and religion there as well, Muslim isn't labelled as a race but neither is Arabic. So their stats aren't that useful.

Regardless, I assume that you must be as shocked about hate crimes to other races, and not just one race.
Correct?
All hate crimes are horrible and should be punished, correct?

Muslim hate crimes,...

Thats what happens when a culture is mentioned in the news, with videos of dying innocent women and children,... far too often,...the word frankie used to describe these acts,... "tragic".

Tends to upset people a little, and the result is, according to frankie,... there are a disproportionate number of hate crimes committed on Muslims..

Its just common sense,...but common sense doesn't appear to be all that common.

Yup. That's the stupid thing about this whole thing.

I can understand countries who want to red tape immigration to ensure they try to pick the best ones. Who wouldn't want to do that?

But then suddenly Western countries open their arms and say to Middle Easterners "come on in", when for eons there are dirt poor people in Africa who have zero chance of living decently and lousy mobility opportunities to even try to get to NA or Europe. We're talking people with nothing and sifting through garbage for everything.

Yet, I've never seen any politician say to all the poor Africans come over no problem. I see all those helicopter food aid drops, but where's all the humanitarians rounding up Africans to join Canada, the US or Europe with no passport or questions asked?

There is at least two (maybe more) interpretation of jihad.

The one favoured by some, many, most, almost all Muslims is:

"Jihad is the promotion and expansion of Islam by all means available, including violence."
Where do you get that stuff? (I'm being polite)

There is at least two interpretation of jihad. Here is the one commonly used to justify war to spread Islam.

"Jihad, also spelled jehad , (“struggle,” or “battle”), a religious duty imposed on Muslims to spread Islam by waging war;"

Question: How did Egypt, Persia, much of India (now Pakistan), etc. become Islamic?
Answer: By jihad

In terms of all crimes committed, I have no idea how proportionate Muslims are when it comes to getting hated on.

But when it comes to terrorist acts, I'd bet any money their share of these kinds of extreme acts is sky high. In fact, I wouldn't surprised if Muslims committed more terrorist acts than all other people combined.

3 separate places, 3 terror attacks. Where is he headed next? Please don't say Toronto.
3 separate attacks? That's just really weird and spooky. I mean seriously, what are the odds of that? Yah let's hope he's not on a mission to Toronto. Please don't come here lol
