The plan is not to keep these deficits sustained, personally I have more confidence in Carney then some interim PBO guy. Carny has the credibility to sell his plan and if you look at all the trips he is making, its not just trade. He is getting agreement on mutual financing support from our key partners so he can finance his plan for the next 5 years,.
I am sure Carney can finance his plan for the next 5 years with
deficit spending.
We could be still more than a decade away from the day of
reckoning. Beyond that, deficit spending will only be possible
by printing money out of thin air.
My advice is if you can get the fuck out of Canada, just do it.

the real issue is his plan wont work and he has no plan to get to balance

Stephen Harper signed a slew of trade agreements however we still are dependant on the US
the PBO guy does not need to lie for votes

Canada's government does not get financing support from other sovereign nations
it gets financing support from the bond market
the mutual financing support he is seeking is tying trade / development finance to climate nonsense and that will be a disaster for Canada
