For the Tim Hortons and Cineplex, I cannot verifiy the exact amount, as I have not scratched off the back of the Tim Card, but I know it is at least $10. The Cineplex should be $20, but could be $15 or $25.

Thanks, I sold them on that site, but it was a massive pain in the ass. They took a big chunk of the value too. For example my $50 indigo card was only worth $40. Mostly about 80-85% of the value.

You had to list every card, and enter each number (about 15 digits each). Then you had to register with a user name, password, address, etc... Then you had to enter your credit card information, and they will charge a fee to verify it. Then you have to print out a label and mail it. Registered, of course.

Finally, after about two weeks you will get a check, which you have to deposit at your bank and wait till it clears.

I think you were very lucky to get that much. Doubt you would have got more anywhere else.

Well what are you expecting to get for them??? If someone is going to pay any more than that, they may as well just go by the card from the companies themselves. You think someone is going to go through the trouble of meeting you to by gift cards to save 5 bucks???

Generally, you cannot use a competitor gift card unless there's a special arrangement. You can use Future Shop cards at Best Buy. I'm not sure if this was the case before Future Shop went under. There's also a multi-restaurant card (Swiss Chalet, Harvey's, Montana's, etc.) that you can use at any restaurant because they are all owned by the same company: Cara.
