I am still waiting for the material that will tell me how I can save money. The gentleman on the phone said my first year of membership will be free. He also said they've dropped the age requirement to 45 (there must be some Board member who are 45 or older). No idea what or who carp is, maybe the Canadian version of aarp, got a link?

Planning to retire from terb? :crossesfingers:Anybody here have any experience with CARP? Are they nice people? Got a call from them a few days ago saying they can save me money. They are sending some material to me in the mail which should arrive in 4-6 weeks.
It was also the station mascot for WKRP in Cincinnati.I thought it was a bottom feeding fish.
Which I may add you will be eventually, just a matter of time. Enjoy your youth while you can.Yeah it's a club for old geezers.
My old geezer body says where do I sign up.Yeah it's a club for old geezers.
They can group buy Preparation H and get it for their members at all better price.Looking at it it appears as less a vehicle for advocacy and more for selling products and services.
Appears to be a bit of both. They lowered the age of admission to 45 so it is no longer just for seniors. A 45 year old has different concerns than a 65 year old so not sure it was a good idea to lower the age,Looking at it it appears as less a vehicle for advocacy and more for selling products and services.
I'm a member. Got a free membership when I signed up for a cell phone plan through Zoomer Wireless. There's not much to the savings based on when I can see so far. Mostly geared towards retirees so they have preferred vendors for life insurance, estate planning, funeral needs and car rentals that sort of thing. You get a magazine and they send out invites for free retirement planning sessions. It's not something I would pay for though.I am still waiting for the material that will tell me how I can save money. The gentleman on the phone said my first year of membership will be free. lol Here's a sample from their March publication. It is really geared towards seniors, not 45 yr olds.Do they have a GILF SP ads section in their monthly publication?
we present Oakville's Rock'n'Seniors, the band that plays something for everyone: Rock'n'Roll, Country and Western and Pop music from the 50's, 60's and beyond. They will soon have you clapping, singing and maybe even dancing.
