Yessss! Absolutely.
It's not real. Just like movies, it's a TV show so anything can happen when writing fantasy.
What I find interesting is that the series paralleled his real life cuz he was/is such a horny bastard that David Duchovny checked himself into rehab for sex addiction.
Also, to my knowledge it's the only time I've ever seen female ejaculation discussed or showcased in any series or movie!

I fell for her when I saw her on "The Truman Show".
I liked the first year of Californication, not much after that. When the novelty and quirkiness of the characters wore off, it went downhill fast.
Yeah, i've watched the series, love it, especially the lead character who also starred in X-Files.
When i grow up i hope to emulate his example in every way.
Well I've only just finished watching Season 1. Who knows..........maybe I'll feel the same way also after watching the rest of them.
I wasn't aware of this show and downloaded the first 4 seasons. It was funny at first but the annoying traits of the lead character and the concept that no woman can resist him wore on me until I simply got sick of it.
I have a difficult time picturing David Duchovny in any role outside of the X-Files. How effectively does Californication dispel the image of Duchovny as Fox Mulder?
Imagine the same Fox Mulder years later - aliens & monsters aside - with a family & the issues surrounding that & the many hot women he fucks.
Once you see him in Californication, you wouldn't picture him as Mulder.
Probably closer to his real character.
