Can I ask someone to tape figure skating off TSN?

DenWa has been an avid fan of figure skating ever since I started using "appreciative favors" to coerce him into watching with me. He even knows most of their names like, the gay one, the not so gay one, the seemingly straight but probably gay one, and ooh there's the hot chick. I am very proud.

Of course this was a badly planned and terribly executed joke at your expense that clearly backfired on me probably for the following reasons;

A) Because it was a lie
B) not funny at all
C) took advantage of someone's gullability
D) forgot to delete the post and any evidence

I got hooked on Figure Skating during the SLC Oly Games and prefer the Canadian announcers to the American ones, but it's all moved to cable these days (bad ratings?) and I don't get TSN down in Buffalo.

On Sat 1-8-05 at 1pm TSN is running the Jr Gran Prix Final, for example, and most of the Canadian National Championship will be on TSN. Last year the Ca Nats were more interesting than the US; I'm mostly interested in the solo skaters, with some interest in the pairs and none in Ice Dance

Yes I've posted this in a Skatefans group but they haven't responeded and this is the busiest site I can think of *shrug* It's proven the fastest way to get an answer on most subjects

Alternately, does anyone know a bar in the NF_Ft Erie region that would show it with the sound ON? I remember at the Hamilton TERB party that there was Buttle's skate on TV but the sound was off

Since mailing across the barder is a bit of a nuisance I'd rather arrange to pick up a tape at a Coffee Time or something
