I think it was a thriller made in the early 80's. A guy was pranked pretty badly, I think in his high school year, by a bunch of his friends. 10 years later, he seeks revenge on those same people with some violence. Near the end of the movie, they talk him down, saying that it was 10 years ago and they've all matured since then. That's all I remember. I googled "movie prank 10 years ago revenge" but no luck. Does anybody know which movie I'm talking about? I cannot remember any particular actors that stood out. Perhaps none of them were famous.

Thriller I think, maybe drama or a mixture of both. I vaguely remember him being laughed at in the prank scene. I cannot remember the prank itself. Then the scene closes and jumps to a new scene 10 years later (with words saying "Ten years later").

I watched it and found it intriguing enough to finish but ya, it was really cheesy. A lot lighter than most of the movies from its genre. I also got to watch Graduation Day from the IMDB suggestions and enjoyed it.

For a wintry Feb weekend, I’d recommend First Snow, The Shining, Snow White and the Huntsman, Whiteout (Kate B), The Children (70s version is best), Let The Right One In (Swedish Original), Frozen (Shawn Ashmore), Max Payne, Transiberian, Frozen Ground, and you can’t beat Dr. Zhivago.
I watched the first 5 minutes and had to turn it off. It wasn't even at the B level of films.
