Hmmmm ...
First I am going to join my parents and head to the Mandarin buffet - early. They are giving it away free to all Canadian citizens. I guess its a little thank-you gift for their success.
Then I might try and catch some fireworks, but I can't say. It was so much easier when they were being displayed at the foot of Bathurst rather than the far east end of town at Ashbridges Bay. (Yes, I still love fireworks - don't you?)
However - what beach are you guys thinking of. Maybe its worth the trip to join you so that the fireworks can be included - no pun intended (I think).
There are some pretty amazing things happening in the city. Free days events at Queen's Park and other places. Mel Lastman square - as usual. There's always something to do.
No hard partying - I did that the last two weekends at Pride and OM. I don't have another one in me for the middle of this week. I'm still recovering.
Whatever else I do I will be counting my blessings for living here.
Especially after the people of country proved that we really are different here by not electing a right wing conservative government. What a real releif and bright light. I'm feeling pretty proud.
Hope you all have a good one.
