Says it all, right?

You should be infinitely grateful to president Trump. If not him, the libs would not have won. Canadians are more afraid of Trump than their own government. You'll have 5 more years of posting this photo for the "win" while the Liberals run your country.

Ooh. Demographic disaster. You should be infinitely grateful to president Trump. If not him, the libs would not have won. Canadians are more afraid of Trump than their own government.
In the meantime we should be bracing for economic and demographic disaster and the rise of crime.
Hopefully, in 2 years a new election can be called.
I know he paid lip service there.![]()
Poilievre to Trump: 'Canada will never be the 51st state'
Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre is responding to U.S. president-elect Donald Trump’s ongoing suggestions that Canada become the 51st state, saying it will 'never happen.'www.ctvnews.ca
There's nothing else he could do except walking into Mar-a-Lago with a machine gun. And even then I think you'd doubt him.
You're not interested in reality. This is all Haha Hehe fun time for you.
Well enjoy the debt.
This election was a reaction to trump vs foreign electoral interference.Biggest loser of the election, Canadians. Second biggest loser was the NDP, losing party status, but somehow they will be able to continue to leverage their small number to push their agenda through the Liberals. That is, if they can find a leader amongst their 7 MPs. Carney's acceptance speech lacked any inspirational vibes and he came across as a monotone low energy speech and taking a swipe at Poilievre was classless, but knowing Carney it was typical of his style. I predict Canada isn't going to be on a happy path under his leadership.
Worked well for the last decade? Per capita GDP basically no growth and $900 billion additional debt. You call that working well, does sound like it to me.This election was a reaction to trump vs foreign electoral interference.
We had people deciding to vote liberal to stop the timbit trump and we had foreign media pushing for the timbit trump.
Looks like Canada is back to the same lib/NDP minority that worked well for the last decade.
Well, you could always move somewhere where there is more growth and less GDP/debt ratio. Or do what rich americans are doing.Worked well for the last decade? Per capita GDP basically no growth and $900 billion additional debt. You call that working well, does sound like it to me.
If only the conservative MPP's weren't such spineless shits. If a few of them put country over party, they could have a say and actually accomplish something for their constituents. Like the NDP did in the last parliament, and will do in this parliament.Biggest loser of the election, Canadians. I am more worried about the next generation. From a personal perspective the Liberal government won't affect me, but sooner or later, addressing the debt problems is going to impact the country as a whole. Obviously Carney with his additional $330 billion in debt over the next 4 years, doesn't plan on addressing things in the near term, and will only make the problem bigger. And Canada isn't alone, the western world is debt burdened. And the baby boomer generation (which includes me) are the ones putting these parties in power that won't deal with reality.Well, you could always move somewhere where there is more growth and less GDP/debt ratio. From fiery moats to hidden bunkers, the "panic industry" is booming

I'll stick to arguing that the problem is still the rising divide between rich and poor but that Canada is still doing well.

It took 2 people to pull off the Liberals win.You should be infinitely grateful to president Trump. If not him, the libs would not have won. Canadians are more afraid of Trump than their own government.

But Pee's cartoonish last minute "platform" did just the same.I am more worried about the next generation. Libs will rely on the BQ for support. Quebec gets tossed goodies and the Libs stay in power for 5 years and Albskatchewan takes an ass kicking.Biggest loser of the election, Canadians. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, oh man, am I enjoying myself reading these posts while filling my mug to the rim!!! AHHHHHHHHHHIt was simply too much to expect a population 90% of whom took an experimental injection from a stranger in a parking lot for a virus with a 99.9% survival rate to act rationally.
Wish I had bought call options on Brookfield stock.
Great work if you can get itMoronto even elected Evan Solomon - guy who was fired from CBC for using his political connections to do art deals on the side and then went on to work for Eurasia Group - the climate scam company which got millions of dollars from the Canadian government
Jagmeet was expected to lose his seat but Pierre certainly was not. I'm dumfounded that he lost and by the 4%+ margin. I'm also shocked at Conservative incumbent Rick Perkins losing St. Margaret's-South Shore by so much. Same with Michelle Ferreri (not MILF alert btw) in Peterborough.Cons and NPD both lost their own leader’s seats. If that doesn’t tell you something, I don’t know what will.
All they need to do is grab the NDP with their 7 seats. Throw them funding money they've lost due to losing party status and boom, they now have a majority. Fuck BQ, I can't stand their leader and party.Libs will rely on the BQ for support. Quebec gets tossed goodies and the Libs stay in power for 5 years and Albskatchewan takes an ass kicking.
