Agreed.Take a step back and examine your beliefs. Capitalism requires growth. If Canada is not growing, it's dying. One of my houses is in a small town in the middle of Italy. You can get houses nearby for free. Is THAT a good future for Canada? Because that's what flat or declining poplulation growth looks like under capitalism.
Which countries in the world hold the most power? Can you chart "power on the world stage" and "population' and see if there are any correlations?
If you are pro-capitalism, you need population growth. If you are looking to maintain the population at some set number, you need a robust social safety net.

And if you want more local population growth you need cheap daycare, better paying/union work and cheaper housing.

Now that the full dust has settled and as expected Carney will have a minority government, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. End of day, I hope Carney does well for Canada, but deep down, I think his coziness with the globalist won't allow him to unleash Canada's strength of natural resources and spur the economy on. We will see, but I suspect just elevating spending, saying he is investing in the future (and tell me they haven't been) and basically retain the stagnant per capita GDP that we have endured the last 10 years, with little external investment to help stimulate things due to lack of confidence. But if wrong, I won't be upset.

They are sexual preferences and gender identity.
Sexual preferences and gender identity are a person's state of being.
Political values are a person's opinions on how a country should be governed and what laws need to be enacted.
