It was hard for me to see and understand what was going in this video, but I guess that is the nature of combat: confusion, terror and uncertainty...God Bless the Canadian Armed Forces. Sincerely, Jon .

That's combat, but our boys did it right: when attacked, attack back with every available weapon....overcome with firepower and keep laying it on until the enemy is destroyed or driven off. This was developed by the SAS during their time.
Anyone notice the one soldier bang his new clip on his helmet? This insures that the rounds and set tight against the back of the clip.
Also notice that even under fire, they all remained relatively calm.....
Way to go boys!
On a more somber note I was watching the news and they had a moment of silence while they listed the 9 americans killed in either Iraq or Afghanistan today. F me, one of them was only 19 yrs old......
Have any of you heard about the new Canadian Special Operations Regiment (CSOR)? I am not talking about our JTF2. At the beginning of the year I read about the formation of a new Special Ops Regiment, they will basically function in a similar role as the American Special forces (other wise known as the Green Berets): http://www.rcinet.ca/rci/en/chroniques/16772.shtml . The Green Berets are trained to conduct missions involving unconventional warfare (guerrilla warfare and other direct offensive, low visibility, covert, or clandestine operations, as well as the indirect activities of subversion, sabotage, intelligence activities, and evasion and escape), counter-terrorism, reconnaissance, direct action and foreign internal defense.
This type of unit will be very useful in the type of Unconventional Guerilla warfare that Canadian soldiers are facing in Afghanistan!
