Canadians travelling to US drops again in May

I didn't know travel plans belong in the political section, so here we go again.
According to Stats Canada the number of Canadians travelling to the US continues to drop again in May.

For me it's a no.

One factor could be that Canadians are broke after 10 years of Liberal rule and our dollar sucks.

Its more to do with the oil market then the govt. Fact is the USA is producing much more oil these days so we don't get the same boost to our currency from oil

It's a no for me. If I need to go for work, so be it. But I am not going to spend my dollars down there for a vacation or leisure activities considering the current state of their nation. You just need to hear one story of a person being detained for virtually no reason as they go for a visit. And, it's happened too often. I used to work closely with Canada Customs or the CBA now, and they LOVED to power trip on people entering the country. The USBP is 100 times worse. A buddy of mine who is a Canadian citizen but has a green card, a US wife and son fly back, and he was worried that he could get caught up in the shenanigans. Thankfully, he made it through.

But, the point here is, why would I support their economy when Mango Mussolini has basically said he wants to crush us to the point annexation seems like a good idea....Fuck that. I feel bad for the anti-Trump folks who's businesses are being hurt, but I really want the Florida to feel the drop in tourist dollars.

Here's the thing: Even if Trump stepped down tomorrow, I don't trust Vance. I think he's a grifter, and don't expect him to be much better than Trump. Now, if he proved me wrong and started leading in a competent way, then I might go down south.
