Now, I know things come up, heck life happens! But really, last minute cancelations are frustrating :(

How long do you leave things to cancle any appointment?

Agreed Kate...

I've only ever had to cancel twice. Unfortunately it was with the same lady both times!

Both times were unavoidable... car accident and an unscheduled last minute road trip for work.

I made up for it later though. :eyebrows:

Conversely, I've had short term cancellations done to me a number of times... and 2 outright no shows! Very frustrating. :frusty:

lol ... you know I forgave you :) Some things can't be avoided.
:D

Kate ... this was my day in Mississauga a few weeks ago....

9am appointment, he's bringing me tea, he's on his way... and BAM! rear ended on the 401... he was taken by ambulance to the hospital but he still managed to send me a text telling me he wouldn't make it. Two hours later, my next guy calls and says he just ran into the back of someone on the 401... I'm like WTF?? Did you just hit my 9am guy???
I guess he REALLY wanted to be the first of the day! LoL

(Kinda back fired though!)

I've only had to cancel a few times 3 or 4 I think. I always try to give at least a couple of hrs notice. But like you Ridgeman I've had several cancellations on me and a few no shows from well reviewed ladies.

Cancellations are better than no shows!!! Shit Happens!! Im always grateful for the call, it can be frustrating for sure and the more notice the better but sometimes it can't be helped!! Its always good to have a cancellation list, some gentlemen request to be on it.
A couple of times Ive had a cancellation because a SO came home!!! LOL!! How unfair!! he couldnt find a way to sneak out!! oh well!!

Yes , it must suck. I have never had to cancel the same day but I have had business appointments cancelled on me at the last minute. Never good. Every right to vent.

this +1

Sure it's frustrating (equally so regardless of what side [SP/client] you're on) It's just part of the game, so try to roll with it when it happens, and not let it sour your entire day.

Well, I have never cancelled...only because I can't schedule out more then 2-3 days ahead.

On the flip side, I have only had 3 cancellations (monthly visitor, guy before decided to extend and lastly...didnt even show up for work). The one that allowed the extension was crossed off my list.

Strangely...I find myself staring up at Heather's body... that avatar looks yummie :)

True enough. I have had to cancel myself on occasion, illness, family emergency etc, and to be honest I have just plain messed up on scheduling it barely happens as I do have a great reputation of being responsible but I am human. Just like any business, we have many of the same issues. Just much more Fun!! :)
Thank you Pusher69 !!:D

It really depends on the cancellation and the reason to be honest.

I have heard that clients get into accident on the way like Ridgeman because hey, it happens but when you book an appointment 2 days in advance, confirm in the morning and then call anywhere from 1 - 15 minutes before the appointment time say you can make it because you have not left the office yet - well that would be an issue. Clearly you know how much time it will take you get there and it is usually more then 15 mins, why did you at least not cancel at the time you should have needed to leave by? It leaves no time for a lady to make up the appointment, especially if she is higher tier and doesn't book same day appointments or is a very popular lady and gets booked well in advance. In those cases, it is almost the same as no show I would think.

Two way street.
This +1 for me also. Had firm confirmation 2 days before indicating that I was taking day off for appointment and that if anything changed, I'd like to know as soon as possible. The day of, got no answer to either text or calls . Never did get a response to any of my texts all day: no explanation, nothing. Saw the SP's ad go up again that night: text'ed the SP to see if we could reschedule the no show the following week. SP did reply very quickly to my request and indicated yes we can. When I questioned what happened with her no show, SP indicated she would explain at next date. Thought about it for a while and decided to cancel the date and move on. I don't move from lady to lady as I prefer to stay with one regular SP but under the circumstances, I decided to start seeing a different very sweet lady very soon. :) I may be taking it too personally but for me, it's a matter of respect for my time. I would have accepted a cancellation with no problem. No show and no message at any time until I specifically asked, is a miss for me. As my potential new regular lady indicated, sometimes things happen for a reason and maybe it's for the best.

It's defiantly a two way street, everyone should respect each others time, like any other appointment!

I did get informed though that this particular client, that's his kind of MO, cancel's frequently on ladies! Last minute,

Maybe that's just what gets his Jollys

I have cancelled once due to waking up with a bad cold. She banned me afterwards.

Guess I should have seen her while coughing and hacking so she could start a thread on TERB asking why don't guys cancel when they are sick.

Rear ended? That's one way to save a few bucks. Hope he at least gave him a reach around.

I have had to cancel at the last minute a few times. Or more accurately, ask to delay a session, and been told that wasn't possible.

In almost every case it's because I received an urgent phone call in the minutes before I was supposed to start the session. Some things can't be helped.

It does not happen very often, but it does happen. Much more often than that I have arrived at the appointed time and been told to wait 10 minutes (which is always 20-30 minutes). In those situations I do not wait, because I know it means they are overbooking and that I will wind up with a tired SP. But in the scheme of fairness I have to point that out--I have delayed much less often than I have been told to wait by the SP/agency.

A change of plans is sometimes unavoidable. That said a lack of courteous conduct (calling/texting/emailing even after the fact for something major) is unforgivable.

I spent 3 days worrying once over a repeat visitor who was usually punctual, and didn't show/call (it would have been a 3rd or 4th visit I think). Then I got the email and found out I had reason to be concerned as he'd been injured at work. I share this so people can grasp that some women genuinely care.

Oh I so understand life happens! It's unavoidable that sometimes we all can't make things on time.

But I found out through the grape vine, this is his mo.

But 9/10 I understand that things come up!

Cancellation is called respect, some have good reasons too ,as we do have good reason to cancel also ,but there are some who make multiple bookings just to have an sp at their disposal,on their time not unheard of just frustrating to say the least.
and then there are the little immature boys who book appointments just to talk shit, and have no intentions of keeping the booking, sooo childish.
A little advise to the ladies, i personally block all no show numbers i do not answer unfamiliar area codes, unknown numbers,or blocked numbers just makes my life a little more organized with out the distractions always good to keep a record of the players to the real men..
Just saying,,

Unfamiliar area codes? How many are you familiar with? You're ignoring most out-of-town businessmen. Thankfully the ladies in the cities that I visit for work don't do that.
