You want Carney to do a DoFo and enact something like Bill 5?But you know it won't be done that way.
You want Carney to do a DoFo and enact something like Bill 5?But you know it won't be done that way.
You don't know that it won't be. Give the guy a chance. It's in all our interests. But you know it won't be done that way.
You can laugh, but I know you're crying, knowing that I'm still happy dancing because Justin hand-picked his predecessor. This hand-picked superhero literally took out the trash and this said trash is still living on the taxpayers' dime. Not quite...just laughing at you thinking you elected an elbows-up Liberal and haven't figured it out yet.
The trash was taken out by Poilievre in getting Trudeau to resign. Mission accomplished! You can laugh, but I know you're crying, knowing that I'm still happy dancing because Justin hand-picked his predecessor. This hand-picked superhero literally took out the trash and this said trash is still living on the taxpayers' dime.
I usually don't vote based on the leader but on the candidate running in my riding and what their plan is for my area, this year national interests affect my area so I chose to go with the paty that I believedSo why did you vote for them this time?
Carney was counting on the money from retaliatory tariffs and then removed those tariffs. So where's his "ghost fund" now?I usually don't vote based on the leader but on the candidate running in my riding and what their plan is for my area, this year national interests affect my area so I chose to go with the paty that I believed
would do better.
I looked at the policies surrounding Pierre and Marks economic forecasts as well as the way they handled themselves.
I didn't agree with Pierres ghost fund economic forecast, I call it that because he was counting on money that most likely would not be there with the current economic havoc in the world.
As well as the proposal Pierre submitted was two weeks after every other party.
It was like he wanted to see everyone elses work then copy peices and portions of it, while ignoring fiscal reality.
The other thing was their backgrounds, one has a bachelors degree from Harvard, a degree in Economics from the University of Oxford, worked at Goldman Sachs before and after studying in University,
He rose to managing director of Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs and helped postapartheid South Africa gain access to international bond markets.
He worked at The Bank of Canada and led the country through the financial crisis in 2008.
He acquired international responsibilities, including the post of chairman of the Committee on the Global Financial System at the Bank for International Settlements and chairman of the Financial Stability Board, based in Switzerland.
Then as the Governer of the Bank of England he guided them out of post recession and the Brexit ordeal.
He was also vice chairman of one of the worlds largest asset management companies.
Pierre went to the university of Calgary and studied International relations.
He had a job during that time doing phone soliciting for Telus and briefly wrote articles for a magazine called the Alberta Report.
After that he got into politics and then won the consevative leadership even though I could find only one bill he sponsored or introduced that was passed, the rest didn't seem to even pass first reading.
Correct me if I am wrong on the bills because I admit I didn't do a deep dive, just a search of major bills.
Ok. That's a convenient story.Carney was counting on the money from retaliatory tariffs and then removed those tariffs. So where's his "ghost fund" now?
Poilievre didn't release his policies because he didn't want them copied. They ended up being copied.
While Carney's resume is impressive, it's what he has done for Canada that is the real measure. He was helping Trudeau and the Libs destroy Canada over the past decade with poor financial policies that lead to inflationary spending, massive debt and making life unaffordable for many.
All the while without actually holding a public office as an MP.
So the Liberals, masters of manipulation, held a coronation that simply replaced the leader while keeping the rest of the cabinet intact. They did this by pivoting to fear mongering and ran a campaign that was better at scaring voters then the Conservative's campagn.
And here we are...
"Carney will stand up to Trump"....in fact the opposite.
"Elbows up!"...while we give BC ferry contracts to China.
On the contrary, it's a real story.Ok. That's a convenient story.
Frame the narrative however you like.On the contrary, it's a real story.
But I can understand how the horror of it may frighten some people into thinking it couldn't possibly be true.
I didn't think you would take my answer as what it was.Carney was counting on the money from retaliatory tariffs and then removed those tariffs. So where's his "ghost fund" now?

"Axe the tax"I didn't think you would take my answer as what it was.
But to clarify your muddled post.
Ghost fund, not my description of Carneys policy but Pollievres read it again.
Copied by who? and don't say Carney because the path he is on now does not in any way mirror Pollievres.
It is in his resume what he has done for Canada!
He was an advisor to Trudeau, you don't need to be an MP to advise, and from articles and quotes it seems that Trudeau neglected to take most of his advice.
Including as you said retailitory tarrifs on goods that Canadian companies need for manufaturing.
Check into what tariffs were removed and how they helped avoid layoffs by keeping those companies competetive on the world and domestic market.
Don't forget these tarifs were only suspended for 6 months.

Then check into what tariffs are still in effect below.

This post proves you have zero comprehension of what you just read."Axe the tax"
Immigration control
Build pipelines
Bill C2
Bill C5
...
Ring any bells?
Specific tariffs were imposed "to stand up to Trump"...now you're saying they were removed "to stand up to Trump"? Now they're coming back to "stand up to Trump"?
Do you think these tariffs will bring the US to its knees? Lol!
- Specialized infant formulas
- Nutrition formulas, metabolic products, formulated liquid diet or human milk fortifiers
- Medical compression garments
- Sterile barrier film or pouches for use in medical manufacturing
BC buying Chinese ferries...Elbows Up!
If a Conservative government tried to ram through bill C5 you would be setting cars on fire.
You're being played...you just haven't realized it yet.
