Ironically, this answer makes you look like a typical Conservative.
You really don't get it, Poilievre positioned himself as the weaker one in this exchange, constantly berating.
If you're able to get past Poilievre's berating, and cutting Carney off and talking over him, point out where he didn't give
a straight answer
I find with Libs you rarely get a straight answer. Its always wishy washy.
Thats why you have to press them (which is what PP did).

Just say what you mean, and mean what you say. Not that difficult

Carney may be a smart guy, he will always project like a global elite banker however. He feels everyone should have the same stance and decorum in conversation as he does. Far more disturbing is he is a Liberal mainliner with nearly 80% of the party that has devastated Canada under a decade of JT. How on fucking earth can this be a good idea?

Are you being intentionally disingenuous, or is just an anti Liberal bias that's clouding you?
Poilievre wouldn't allow him to finish.
Carney didn't answer because he got pressed, he was able to complete his answer because Poilievre's shut the fuck up,
or had his mic turned off because he wouldn't shut the fuck up.
You see, it WASN'T that difficult after Poilievre kept his mouth shut.
Watch from 3:20, let me know if he wasn't unequivocal and precise about his policy.

Where?
He just is who he is.
Does Poilievre feel like everyone should have the same stance and lack of decorum in conversation as he does?
No, he just is who he is.
And that might be his real problem.
The rest of your comment is so far from reality, in the face of what is easily verifiable, there's no starting point to even argue it.

No, giving bullshit answers is a common trait amongst Liberals.
I seen it time and time again with Trudeau.
You are probably blind to it because you're a Lib yourself
You're probably wrong.
I would have voted Poilievre over Trudeau hands down, I voted for Harper in one election. I don't think you would vote Liberal under any circumstance.
And that's all Conservatives can offer, making it about Trudeau.

Explain to me what was bullshit about his answer.

Mitchy I suspect you no longer like Pee Pee because your hero the US felon isn't a fan of Pee Pee and actually said on FOX Fake News he prefers Carney.
I would bet LARGE that Trump said that knowing that Canadians hate him and they might vote for the guy he didn't endorse.

He really can't wait til October because he cannot sit in the house without holding a seat. It would make Pee Pee stronger to stand up in the house harping on no Carney. I think he will call it this month.
I'd be very shocked if he doesn't call it soon.
I think he would call it before bringing Parliament back, because having it called for him by a vote of no-confidence seems like it wouldn't be great.

Totally.
I think he took the appropriate time to get the wind under his wings.

Carney might be up because of a sugar high, similar to what Kamala had.
That will probably not last very long.
I think it is more than that.
Disapproval of Trudeau being one reason, I think Trump is another (major) factor.
Now Trudeau is out of the way.
The way the US is trending with its far right politics, has driven liberals who had originally pledged to vote for Pierre (like myself), back to the Liberal party.
It is time to vote ideologically to do our part in hopefully not allowing another right wing take over of a country (a worldwide trend).
Now Pierre may not be like Trump, but there are plenty within the CPC supporters who see him as a populist Canadian equivalent.
I think many Liberals see that and will vote against it.
If Pierre wants to win decisively, he would have to distance himself from appearing populist and take a stance against Trump. Will he?

I tend to agree.
I think there was going to be some bounce back to Carney and the Libs no matter what because a lot of the frustration became personalized in Trudeau.
But this shift has a lot to do with Trump and the threats from the US changing the entire playing field.

I do think the numbers will come back to a tighter race once the actual campaign starts, though. There is some honeymoon sugar high aspect to this still. I just don't think it will be a crash in Liberal support. (Obviously, the campaign itself might produce some huge gaffe or event from any of the parties and then that will take over driving the bus. Can't predict that.)

Mark Carney’s Values: What his 2021 book reveals about the leader he might be

Ok, there is no mention of him being in favour of the carbon tax?

We'll see, I think PeePee hit peak popularity and will never regain it.
Likely we'll see an election soon, Carney would be nuts not to use this opportunity.

Dude, you can't talk to Trump like this.

Asking Trump to respect Canada is just going to encourage him to insult you again.
Well, he did.
He didn't ask Trump to respect Canada, he gave him an ultimatum, we're not sitting down to negotiate until he stops disrespecting Canada.
You think Trump would respect Canada more by pretending he didn't say it?

You guys kill me, one day it's Carney isn't tough enough, the next day he should say nothing and put his tail between his legs.
If Poilievre stood up like that you'ld plan a parade for him.
We've been one of their greatest allies and always been there in their toughest times.
Carney did good, I felt proud as a Canadian to hear him say that.

Carney can't work the media half as good as Trump.

Trump is a war of disinformation and you will need a great communicator to battle that. Doug can't keep stepping up for Canada every time.

Poilievre can work the media. Which is why they blocked him out.
