Pierre is a career politician, with no business experience, and is lacking some leadership charisma. Pierre is also too afraid to take chances, like go on podcasts like Joe Rogan, to attract new canadian voters, who watch these type of podcasts. In other words, Pierre should campaign just like Trump did. Trump went on every podcast known to man, and wasn't afraid to take chances in running his campaign. That's why Trump became president. Pierre is acting more like a liberal then a conservative!! IMHO, Doug Ford would have been the perfect choice for PM over Pierre!!

Carney has all the business credentials in the world. Governor of both Bank of Canada, and Bank of England. However, Carney has zero charisma, and is a terrible speaker, and seems very shady to me.

Now that Justin has resigned (thank goodness), I don't really care who wins between Pierre and Carney!!
I still disagree with the Trump style campaign, voters who already back him would be ok with it, personally I don't think undecideds would buy it.
Funny, I think Carney is very charismatic, super intelligent and confident, very charming and personable, eloquent, all in a big boardroom kind of way.
He may not be as relatable to average voters for that reason, maybe that's what makes him look shady.
Poilievre comes across as more relatable, and like I said, he might show a different side if he can take the boxing gloves off.
I've noticed that Poilievre looks and sounds a bit more tense since the Liberals started surging, he comes across so much better when he's relaxed.
I agree, either one is a step up from Trudeau.

Carney knew the keeping the Carbon Tax was a complete non starter with the electorate, obviously axing it by Order in Council within hours of being sworn in.

This single act has removed the largest arrow from Poilievre's quiver of criticisms in the upcoming election.
Lol You do realize that ONLY the Governor General can sign an order in council?? Here check it out -> https://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/en/article/order-in-council

I include key points in the article " A federal order-in-council is a statutory instrument by which the governor general (the executive power of the governor-in-council), acting on the advice and consent of the King's Privy Council for Canada, expresses a decision. In practice, orders-in-council are drafted by Cabinet and formally approved by the governor general. Orders-in-council are not discussed by Parliament, and do not require legislation by Parliament, before being implemented. "

CBC and Carney lied to people. Here is the CBC article before on Saturday, I took a screen capture Carney.png . People asked questions and CBC noticed. They got fact checked, same article but it was changed, this is the screen capture on Sunday Carney Fact Checked Revised.png .

And you also forget that they cannot just remove the carbon tax because it is law, it is called the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenhouse_Gas_Pollution_Pricing_Act

The law would first have to be repealed. It is no different then the GST tax holiday. The carbon tax will just tuned down to zero volume, but it is still there. They can change their mind and it is back next week. Carney is just doing this to get elected. Unfortunately most people are falling for it because they are misinformed as you are.

Someone the other day was trying to paint Gerard Butts as a "strong man in the shadows", and conflated lefties with wanting a "strong man".

This is the second thing I've seen literally painting PP as a strong man, when he really looks like this:

I wonder what he's going to look like when the Liberals get a majority.

Carney looks like a typical liberal, he wont give straight answers
Ironically, this answer makes you look like a typical Conservative.
You really don't get it, Poilievre positioned himself as the weaker one in this exchange, constantly berating.
If you're able to get past Poilievre's berating, and cutting Carney off and talking over him, point out where he didn't give
a straight answer.

BTW, Poilievre doesn't look so smug and confident these days does he.

Mitchy I suspect you no longer like Pee Pee because your hero the US felon isn't a fan of Pee Pee and actually said on FOX Fake News he prefers Carney.

Lets wait until we see the debates, but if he regularly talks like this PP will eat him for breakfast
Pierre will eat an apple and repeat slogans like a talking doll.
He had nothing else going for him besides capitalizing on disapproval of Trudeau.
Now it seems even that has been taken away from him and he is flailing.
Lets see how long the conservatives can keep their lead in the polls.

Current PC lead is irrelevant because Libs will just form another coalition with NDP.

Also, I wouldnt put too much faith in the polls right now.
Carney might be up because of a sugar high, similar to what Kamala had.
That will probably not last very long.
The debates are whats going to decide this election

I find with Libs you rarely get a straight answer. Its always wishy washy.
Thats why you have to press them (which is what PP did).

Just say what you mean, and mean what you say. Not that difficult

Carney may be a smart guy, he will always project like a global elite banker however. He feels everyone should have the same stance and decorum in conversation as he does. Far more disturbing is he is a Liberal mainliner with nearly 80% of the party that has devastated Canada under a decade of JT. How on fucking earth can this be a good idea?

Are you being intentionally disingenuous, or is just an anti Liberal bias that's clouding you?
Poilievre wouldn't allow him to finish.
Carney didn't answer because he got pressed, he was able to complete his answer because Poilievre's shut the fuck up,
or had his mic turned off because he wouldn't shut the fuck up.
You see, it WASN'T that difficult after Poilievre kept his mouth shut.
Watch from 3:20, let me know if he wasn't unequivocal and precise about his policy.

No, giving bullshit answers is a common trait amongst Liberals.
I seen it time and time again with Trudeau.
You are probably blind to it because you're a Lib yourself

Where?
He just is who he is.
Does Poilievre feel like everyone should have the same stance and lack of decorum in conversation as he does?
No, he just is who he is.
And that might be his real problem.
The rest of your comment is so far from reality, in the face of what is easily verifiable, there's no starting point to even argue it.
