Carpenter/Handyman Needed

Help!!!

Daniella (aka the Creole Kitten) and I had made arrangements to purchase some nifty dungeon equipment, but unfortunately this has fallen through. Since neither she nor I are co ordinated enough to be trusted near power tools, we need some assistance.

We're looking for someone with basic carpentry skills to custom make some furniture for us. This is not half as complex as it sounds - for example, a decent cross can be usually made in not much more than 40 minutes, and ditto a horse. No specialized skills are needed, and we'll provide plans for you to work from.

We can either barter (wink:wink:nudge:nudge), or simply pay you for your time and the supplies needed, as you prefer. You'd need to be able to come to us to do this (downtown near the Eaton's center), as this stuff is better made on site than transported.

We'll do all the fussy, girlygirly finishing touches like paint and upholstery - you just handle the *tools*

I could use that too.... So many ladies could use a hand doing things around their places... Work or home.....I am looking for painters , and reno people that do tiling and bathroom stuff, (fixtures,drywall,tiles)

I like your idea about "rent a husband requests". I'm a Jack of all Trades,(no not jack off) and have had a few cases with bartering my services for other services. One session came after laying patio slabs, and nailing deck boards in a reno. She kept bringing me ice tea, and each glass came with a different outfit, until I got too hot to work. Took care of more than just one project around the house that day.
Another one started of as a 2 day job fixing tiles in the bathroom. Ended up finishing up 6 weeks later, poorer, but well fed, tired from little sleep after spending every night in her bed, and she got her roof reshingled, house painted, and plumbing serviced.

Any other SPs, Dancers or MPAs need reno work done?
