Why not? We men also want to form a collective to help each other like you girls do. On the green board many of you spend a lot of time telling us how to be model clients or why we should pay a deposit, pay in advance, screen, provide government IDs. Do I need to go on?What I'm saying is that you shouldn't use this guy's story to convince guys not to screen, it wasn't that complicated to understand.
We also take risks booking unknown girls. Men are not invulnerable. You're explaining modern society to me as if I don't know about any of these realities. The truth is I and other SP risk our lives to service clients like you, even if we are not doing anything illegal. Okay maybe being filmed without consent isn't legally a sexual assault but it can still very much have an impact on someone's life if the client shares the images he stole. I've heard of girls being filmed without their consent and these videos being shared in secret group chats...
Just because it has not happened does not mean it will never. This is an example of selective enforcement, like police who choose not to give tickets to drivers going 20kph over the speed limit. Giving out government IDs is a big NO NO to me.Yes we live under surveillance and yes it's possible for governmental agencies to discovered that you have done something illegal by purchasing sexual services, but how often have you heard of a client being arrested? This is the question nobody ever wants to answer. The truth is that I've never heard of a client getting arrested unless he was buying services from a minor. As sex workers we deal with organizations that give us a lot of information about the law.. Yes technically it's illegal and you could get arrested but the truth is that this almost never happens, and there are sex workers who went to the police after being raped and stolen from who were not taken seriously and the client received no consequences.
The men are also just at risk. We clients can get banned from going to other countries also. In many places they are labeling the client as predators and the SPs as victims.5 Eyes etc all of what you're mentioning have been a thing for a really longtime, yes it's worse now with surveillance technologies but they are not NEW and it's not like a ton of clients of escorts are going to jail as a result of these companies and devices existing. It's SP who are more at risk of suffering consequences if they are exposed, such as being banned from going to certain countries, being arrested at the border, etc. Not only that but if future or current employers find out that someone has been a sex worker, there will be issues for this person. Not so much clients. If you don't want to screen, then don't, but don't contribute to a panic that prevents independent providers from being safe...
