Highest rated show on a medium that nobody uses anymore?

Everything about the guy is fake beginning with the pronunciation of his last name.
He openly admits his name pronunciation is a joke mocking pretentiousness. I guess you didn't get it. He has elements of all the greats.... Jack Benny, Carson, etc.... he'll be back on another network or medium that doesn't kneel to the fuhrer

COVID is a virus that easily spreads through the air. I think you need to be thinking flu.

I have had three COVID shots and I still can catch the COVID virus. I know people who have had the COVID virus after multiple vaccinations. Then there's people who have had COVID multiple times........again like the flu.
Yes, and the stats show that you are still less likely to get it and if you do the severity will be lessened.
Alberta has now had as many measles cases as all of the US. Anti vaxxers are allowing the return of diseases we had eliminated.

He's quick witted and talented but NMCOT.

He's also a political hack.

No it's the more you take the more likely you are to get it. Already been proven. Why do you always post nonsense?

But it would still be a little higher than someone who has had covid would it not. By the way Franky boy of all people shouldn't have found your comment funny :ROFLMAO:
Of course you didn't get the joke.

You come to these conclusions if you've had a brain worm.
Vaccines work and now anti vaxxers have successfully brought back the measles.

I think Colbert is funny, but Kimmel and Myers do a better job of showing Trump's bizarre insanity, while being funny
I would agree with your take. I personally love a good political joke even the one's directed at Trump.

However, quoting my earlier post "We had the most bizarre election in recent history. I will give you Trump. However, the Biden fraud, the rushed coronation of Kamala and her ensuing vagueness and doubletalk were comedy gold as well. Colbert rarely touched on it."

I think they all rarely touched on the craziness of the Democratic side. At some point, the audience picks up on that and starts to think it's more preaching than comedy.

Anyways, I didn't stop watching late night because of politics. I gradually started reading more and streaming YouTube which seems to be killing appointment TV. I do like Fallon's celebrity bits, but I can see a lot of them on YouTube and elsewhere without the usual celebrity talk show dribble.

So and so is an incredible director. It was so much fun working with so and so actor. This is an amazing story.

Has ICE deported Guillermo yet? ;)

That's a big part of the decline.

Just like video killed the radio star in the 80s, social media killed the Hollywood star in the 2000s.

We've come to see them as the jesters they are, and how practically useless they are without a script and a full throttle multi-million dollar media machine behind them.

The creative funny neighbour you grew up with now has tens of millions more followers online than your biggest Hollywood celebrity.

By the way, more and more reports suggest that Late Night with Colbert was hemorrhaging money.

Paramount-CBS' timing and the appearances of the decision were horrible. Don't expect too much from corporate executives. They also might have known the timing was bad and just didn't give a fuck.

I would narrow that to streaming.

It's an interesting transition. If legacy TV networks and major studios can't decide what we watch on television or herd us into a theater, it seems to change the market dynamics dramatically.

As a side note, it seems that Hollywood stars appear in superhero movies because they seem to be the only movies that consistently have the big payouts for actors.

Social media has given ordinary people 24/7 access to Hollywood celebrities and they're no longer seen as special or larger than life.

I'm more shocked that The View is still on the air. You can't tell me that show doesn't lose money.
Colbert is a man and looks like the stereotypical weak liberal that women are naturally repulsed by, so I think that aside from some die hard closeted male Boomers, the show has no audience.

Whereas The Views' all-female cast garners support from the middle class suburban (primarily White) women demographic which is large enough to carry them.

Seriously, every single one of our mothers thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread. They live in a bubble.
