I don't know...I've never been a fan of hers, but she seems to me to be genuinely upset/concerned about this situation, and good-for-her that she's sent a million bucks, and maybe will inspire someone else to do something to help out as well. (Actually, I don't mind her as much as that annoying old fart - Larry King!)

Why did she go there right after the storm passed? A couple of hours of Celine singing on a boat and all that water would have beat a hasty retreat back to the safety of the ocean.

Then again the residents of New Orleans may well prefer to drown in water that all that cheese.

Good god, I thought I was the only Canadian that hated her.

She should just give money and shut up. LOL

The other thing that kind of pisses me off are these charity concerts.
When it comes down to it, these rock stars give 1-2 hours of their time. Some will say that's great. I say it's bullshit. In essence, the people who pay for the concert, fans, are giving the charity. If the rock stars really cared, they'd donate their time AND money. Let the fans pay as well so they can contribute but the stars who have millions should be first in line to dish out the dole.
