For that to happen, Juventus will first have to get past the winner of the Bayern vs Chelsea match. IMO, Chelsea will dispose Bayern tomorrow. I'm not a huge Chelsea fan, but I can't see Juventus getting past them. The Juventus defense has been shaky on the rare occasion (first half against Liverpool), and Chelsea don't seem to have a problem scoring anywhere they go.chd said:

Munich was close but not close enough. I think if that deflected cross of Huth that hit the crossbar or the following corner had went in, I think they would have done it.
I was watching back and forth and those Inter fans are a disgrace. They went nuts basically because Cambiasso's goal was called off, wrongly so IMO. But even at that point, they werent going to score 3 goals in the last 15min anyhow. A flare hit Dida in the face, could have taken his eye out, then everything came on to the field...they'll never beat Milan, never.
About the actual game...no idea why Inter started C. Zanetti AND Cambiasso, you only need one defensive midfielder especially when you need to score. Also dont know why they started Kily over Obafemi Martins...

Today's Matches ....
So far, both my picks have made it thru to the semi-finals. Tomorrow's matches are gonna be tight. Gerrard is out for Liverpool and David Trezeguet is out for Juve, but Djibril Cisse is back in the lineup for the Reds so that should give them some confidence.
Bayern played well today, but they missed some very good chances, especially Ballack ... Chelsea were lucky on 2 goals, and both were deflections ... one in the first leg and one today. I knew it then that Bayern were not gonna make it. Bayern turned it up a notch way too late in the game ... had they started playing like they did towards the end much earlier, they could have caused an upset.
The Milan derby was entertaining until 30 minutes into the second half when Inter fans started throwing flares and plastic bottles onto the pitch. It was an absolute disgrace !!! Dida was lucky to get hit at the back of his neck/shoulder area rather than his face. Even as the police were picking up the thrown objects, those stupid fans kept throwing things at them. IMO, AC Milan had been the superior team during both legs and deserved to win.

nice game Liverpool (I think I was the only one who picked them)...Juventus, well they were rather disappointing, they didnt generate much offence at all. Too bad Baros didnt score on that 2nd half chance...that was a nerve wracking 2nd half...kudos to Liverpool, for winning in Turin without Stevie G...

Liverpool fully deserved to be in the semi-finals after their great display throughout both legs ... I don't know what happened to Juve, because they looked totally different from the team that beat Real Madrid. No imagination whatsoever from their attackers and so many of their shots were just off-target ... Emerson's shot was so off that even if they lined up 5 goal-boxes right beside each other, he would still miss !!! Then he puts his hands over his head in disbelief.
IMO, picking the semi-final winner between AC Milan and PSV seems pretty easy, but picking one between Liverpool and Chelsea is more difficult. I know Chelsea have beaten the Reds on 3 different occassions this season, but it was only by the slighest of margins, and by the way Liverpool have played in the CL, I have been very impressed. There's a good possibility they could pull an upset.
