no
you are too stunned to distinguish between a cold blooded murder and advocating for the protection of freedoms
and he never disrespected any victims as individuals.
he was certainly a peaceful family man with a wife and kids who just happened not to share your extreme views on gun control
you are delusional if you think you can control a populations behavior
that is just stupid
no normal person would take any joy out of a cold blooded murder nor justify it via something the victim said
you want the freedom to express your views don't you?
they are almost guaranteed to be offensive to someone
it appears both Dr king and Charlie kirk were targeted and murdered for speaking out about issues which were important to them
by mocking him ?
by dancing gleefully on his grave?
by calling him callous?
your argument is wrong, it respects nothing
You make good counter-points.
But believe me when I say that I do not celebrate his murder. I am not saying he can't speak his mind on issues that are important to him. I don't have "extreme views on gun control" as you ascribe to me.
On gun control... as a former, enthusiastic long gun and handgun owner, restricted weapon owner, collector, small game big game and waterfowl hunter, target (22 precision shooting Anschutz) trap and skeet shooter that never shot below 22/25 , I KNOW the US is beyond gun control. I have NO, ZERO, ZIP, ZILCH ideas on how to make the US safer WRT guns.
As I said in a previous post, if I lived in the US, I'd own both a self defense shotgun and a concealed compact 40 cal handgun.
In Canada, I surrendered all my guns for destruction about 15-20 years ago when I moved downtown and was worried about securing them. I never wanted the chance that my guns could ever hurt anyone so I didn't sell them.
I accept and support legal gun ownership in Canada. I also support the gov't invoking the
notwithstanding clause to reintroduce substantial (5 and 10 year) mandatory minimum sentencing for illegal use or carrying of guns. Whose sentences would be consecutive to any underlying sentences.
I also call out pilots who crash and get killed and kill others "doing what they love" when their
deliberate actions result in their death. Because I want others to realize that going out "doing what you love" is never glamourous.
Go peacefully, in your sleep. Like my grandfather. Not screaming in terro like his passengers.
