As tragic as this situation is it has had the opposite effect. It has boosted his popularity and shown the truest of colors of the left. I had only marginally heard of Charlie prior to this situation. Now I've viewed tons of his videos and debates and realized what a great man he was. I suspect his death won't go unanswered based on the out pour of support for him. I just hope they're ready for the fall out.
For the record I believe this was condemned clearly by all the leaders of the left, and those w TV shows. He was not mocked like how Paul Pelosi was mocked. The civil war /kill the libs is a constant theme on the right and 4chan 8chan etc. And a lot of quiet on the right when the Minnesota democrats on a hit list were murdered. I only say this not to "what about" but to recenter the issue. The more the discussion switches to the broad brush " they're all like that!" or assign blame "they started it!" then folks foment the violence, not deescalate it. The discussion has to be to brand anyone who advocates the murder of Americans as terrorsts and anti American.

Alleged Killer of Charlie Kirk ‘Deeply Indoctrinated with Leftist Ideology,’ Utah Governor Says

Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin was “deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology,” according to Utah Governor Spencer Cox (R).

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal this week, Cox said it’s become “very clear to us and investigators” that Tyler Robinson, the suspected Kirk shooter, was “indoctrinated with leftist ideology.” According to the Journal’s report on Robinson, his parents are registered Republicans while he “was in the past registered as nonpartisan.”
...
The Guardian removed quotes from an article about Robinson this week that identified him as the only “leftist” in his family. The anonymous source who provided the quotes called themselves a high school friend, but questioned their recollections after the article was published.
So your "Hero" reference to The Guardian "news" by an "award winning former NYT journalist" got retracted!

But don't let that get in the way...

That's a college student in a silly animal party costume. Unless trans people are dressing as teddy bears these days?

The individual who identified the room mate as trans is "Mr Unidentified Source". No credibility at all. Daugherty quotes the Post who quotes Sigman who quotes "an unidentified source". The story is beiing corroborated by a chain of people that simply traces back to the first poster.

I'll give the transgender credit at least for tipping off the FBI

But we also have Utah police saying that Robinson was pissed at Kirk for not being right wing enough.

So in other words, Charlie had it coming in your opinion
Had it coming? I think he placed himself in danger by choosing his ideology and pushing it. His udeology was not one of tolerance. I watched his shtick. He was the polite face of some very ugly notions.

Dude, you as a sinning monger would have been a prime target of his evangelical fervor. He would have seen you outed, publicly shamed, and forced to recant publicly with an appropriate donation to his church. Same with your drinking. And anything else you can think of.

He only champions his free speech in the end. His goal was not dialogue, it was conversion. To his narrow world view. Once he had enough, just like a Sharia Law proponent, it's time to change the laws.

So, no, I won't mourn any extremist, especially dishonest ones with a controlling agenda.

Resident, Josh Kemp, 18, told The New York Times that Robinson would ‘always blast music with his roommate’ and ‘never talk to anybody’.

Oliver Holt, 11, told the paper that when he knocked on Robinson’s door last week asking for odd jobs, the alleged shooter was ‘acting pretty strange’ and kept glancing back into his apartment ‘acting kind of nervous and scared’.

Twiggs and Robinson's female next-door neighbor, who asked to remain anonymous, told Daily Mail the young men were ‘reclusive’ and that she had spoken to Twiggs twice in the past two years.

She said she did not see anything about Twiggs that indicated he was transgender.

The neighbor said Robinson and Twiggs had a third roommate who moved out about a year ago. To their knowledge, no others have moved in since.

The third roommate was also a male and did not appear to be trans, the neighbor said.

This is the "trans" roomate doing trans things and wearing women's clothes and makeup.....

Clown show:
Rep. Nancy Mace to Introduce Resolution to Authorize Charlie Kirk to Lie in Honor in the U.S. Capitol
September 11, 2025
Press Release
(Washington, D.C., September 11, 2025) — Today, Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC-01) announced she will be introducing a concurrent resolution authorizing Charlie Kirk to lie in honor in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda, should the Kirk family wish.
Charlie Kirk devoted his life to defending the freedoms defining our nation. He inspired millions, led countless souls to Christ, and never wavered in defense of the First Amendment. Such a legacy makes him uniquely worthy of this distinction.
“Charlie Kirk was more than a leader, he was a man of faith, integrity, and conviction,” said Congresswoman Mace. “He gave young Americans the courage to speak boldly, to live out their beliefs, and to never waver in the defense of freedom. It is only fitting his life be remembered in the Capitol, where the freedoms he defended are enshrined. His legacy will endure, and his faith will continue to inspire millions.”
If adopted by both the House and Senate, the resolution permits Kirk’s remains to lie in honor in the Capitol Rotunda on a date and for a period of time determined by Speaker of the House and the President pro tempore of the Senate. The Architect of the Capitol will oversee all necessary arrangements under the direction of the Speaker and the President pro tempore.
