Might be easier just to bury him with the damn thing.

You could try, but there are still a lot of us left to see that doesn't happen.

"The ocean is dying, the plankton is dying… It's people! Soylent Green is made out of people. They're making our food out of people. Soon, they'll be breeding us like cattle—for food! You gotta tell 'em! Listen to me, Hatcher! You gotta tell 'em—SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!!! We gotta stop them! Somehow! Listen! Listen to me… PLEASE!!!"

I am not moved.

Don't care really, the cremation people will insist it is unloaded anyway.

I Knew Chuck Heston Personally

For almost a decade I worked with Heston on L.A.'s major two theaters; we were directors and officers. He was chairman. I can tell you he was a very pleasant, normal guy with no pretenses. I've played tennis with him, been at his home numerous times and he in mine.

Criticize his politics; Chuck was a good guy.

BTW, he married Lydia when he was 20 and they stayed married. He had every opportunity but never too any. Lydia also suffers from tremendous migraines so their personal lives were not the easiest as that issue kept them from many activities.

He seems to get a bad rap from people as a crazy pro-gun guy but lets not forget that he was among the first in Hollywood to get publically involved in the civil rights movement (when it wasn't so popular to do so).

Exactly.

Chuck was always for civil rights.

In fact, when Martin Luther King Jr. had his famous march on Washington, and gave his final, "I have a dream speech" Charleton Heston was standing behind him on the platform.
