Surely you've seen Ben Hur which got 11 Academy Awards!
I also liked his SCI-FI movies: Planet of the Apes, and The Omega Man.
He had that great way of saying OOOHHH MY GOD

The Cunning Linguist said:Charleton Heston appeared briefly in the Michael Moore flick, "Bowling for Columbine". It was an ambush. Mr Heston was obviously not well, and a shadow of his former self, mentally. He was confused, and Moore attacked him like a lion after a wounded gazelle. Moore showed no class at all.
Even though I disagreed with Mr Heston in his pro-gun ownership stance, and thought he was misguided, I have immense respect for the man as an actor. He provided the world with a lot of entertainment.

Why would you miss him? He hasn't done any acting for years. And his films are available on DVD so you can watch them whenever you like. Or did you personally know the man?Insidious Von said:I'm really going to miss Chucky Heston, his acting was like a fine cheese.
