Well, that's not entirely true. My problem is, I can't even walk down the street anymore without encountering some moron puffing away on their cigarette, and then being forced to breathe in their second hand smoke.
I know. And then there is the hideously appalling perfume that some people wear that induces chemical athsma in me. I m NOT joking, it gets so bad.

Try holding your breathe and quit your whining.

Warning: I have had a really really bad two weeks filled mostly by whiny little bastards that don't want to work past 3pm, yet come payday they whine they have no hours.

It's not whining. If you want to smoke your brains out, go ahead; just don't do it around me. It's unbelievably inconsiderate to subject non-smokers to the filth of secondhand smoke. Unfortunately, at times there is just no escaping it. I don't want to get lung cancer. Plain and simple.

Many can say that you and I are 'stupid' because we are obsessed with sex, spend money on it and risk our health and that of our loved ones (i.e. STD) for our obsession.
The risks are not comparable. I mean, maybe if you go out looking for bareback anal it's comparable. Otherwise, no. The relatively safe stuff I do is FAR more pleasurable than smoking and FAR less risky.

OK, not less money, but I manage my budget OK.

So, please think twice before you are so judgemental.
I've thought about this more than twice, a lot more than twice. A member of my immediate family died from lung cancer due to smoking. So, yes, I have thought about it quite a bit. You know what? The more often I think about it, the more convinced I am that smokers are stupid. Literally, lacking intelligence.

That is your opinion and I respect it. My great grandfather smoked until he died at 99, and I know of a chain smoker who is still at it at 94.

The studies in the 1950s of Doll and Hill were biased and incorrect. Doll was a shill for the chemical industry (read asbestos).

Isn't it strange co-incidence that smoking rate has over the last 40 years gone down and the cancer rate has risen? Isn't it alarming that, after the bombs were dropped on Japan thet the cancer rates worldwide rose dramatically?

So, I have the right to an opinion, too.

But, I don't go intentionally around calling people who disagree with my opinons as being stupid.

You can't say that if you never smoked. I pity those who don't know what it's like to take a deep drag on your first cigarette on a cold morning.

Okay maybe you were not whining but you sure as hell are now. If I choose to walk down a public street, smoking that is my choice. No one is forcing you to inhale my smoke. Don't like it cross the street, hold your breathe start carrying an oxygen tank do what ever you wish. So either do something about it or get used to it.

I know what lung cancer can do saw my dad dwindle down in less than a year. Do I still smoke yes, why because I choose to and do enjoy them. Not only that lung cancer might get me but there are countless ways to die.
I could get hit by a drunk driver, my parachute might not open you get the idea genius.

So just for the hell of it how many stupid people can you find here:

http://www.answers.com/topic/list-of-famous-smokers

Another thing if smokers are so stupid as you say then why are there not more of them here:
