It dawned on me that the bad blood between the Smith's and Chris Rock goes back to 2016. Will Smith was pissed that he wasn't nominated for Concussion, he and Jada called for a black boycott of the Oscars. Which made for excellent fodder for Rock to roast him. Can't say if Concussion was any good, I haven't watched a Will Smith film since he played an asshole in Ali.

These days I only watch the opening monologue, the rest of the Oscars is like watching paint dry.

I doubt that it is the media that give her that name. It must have started when she/her family registered her for tournaments. I suspect that they've had ample time to change it if they so desired.

It's up to her, she has to change it. She's on the verge of breaking into the top 5, she has to be taken seriously by having everyone around her refer her by her actual name. Martina Trevisan will be tough, she's a "rope a dope" specialist who'll exploit unforced errors. Hopefully Cori will make the change before Wimbledon, as a player she's no longer a juvenile.

Netflix are caught in another firestorm, again they are sticking with their principles...stock plunge be damned.

This time it's over Ricky Gervais's new stand up show Supernature. I think it's hysterical but the woke mob are indignant, they want to cancel Gervais. Netflix is defending Gervais's right to express himself like they did with Dave Chappelle's The Closer. The woke mob wants to turn us all into limp-wristed cream puff eaters.

I feel indignant for Ricky Gervais, he's a genius comic...in the spirit of openess I present Dice Clay trashing Bonnie McFarlane.
