The 70% reduction of AIDS is only for unsafe sex; cut/uncut makes no difference if there's a condom (that doesn't break). I suppose we can attribute the US's high infection rate to their sex ed policies from the dark ages

As the poll now stands, it is interesting that relatively speaking circumcised men are more happy with the status of their penises than uncircumcised men.

That I don't get. I voted uncut and happy, but for the guys that are uncut and unhappy, why do they remain uncut?

And circumcizing babies is an absolutely barbaric practice. A grown man deciding to get cut is one thing, but making a permanent change to a baby's sex organs is a horrible thing to do. I have a hard time distinguishing it from sexual abuse.

I imagine there are at least three reasons. Firstly, it maybe somewhat embarrasing to ask a doctor to perform a circumcision, particularly if the doctor is against circumcision. Secondly, adult circumcision could be quite costly. Thirdly, the healing processes could last at least 6 weeks.

I think it's basically #3. Some plastic surgeons specialize in circumcisions and these are easily found on the 'Net and the cost of the op is relatively minor, for elective surgery.

Just out of random interest, some women have circumcision fetishes. The extremely perverted Monica ex SRM used to examine my uncut pants-lizard with great interest when I visited her and try to convince me to get cut. She would tell me in gory and minute detail how carefully she had to "handle" post-op specimen penises and how long the healing process took. She was in fact about as obsessed with cutting dicks as she was with fingering guy's ..............

Circumcision is genital mutilation.

It's all lies why Americains wanted to have cut dyks over uncut dyks.The dyk has little or no protection when injured or outside inflluences (stds).
The dyk in due time will be come less sensitive.
It may appear bigger only if he shaves.

When an uncut dyk is erect it looks exactly like an cut dyk.
The dyk is more sensitive during sex.
Plus you have that extra addvantage of not getting sand (whatever) on your vader's helmet.
Just keep it clean with brillo.

The last I heard was that even that 70% was in doubt. Frankly, foreskin is well enough behind safer sex and good basic hygiene that it should really be about the last consideration in that regard. Cultural momentum, what can you do?

So, to summarize the results:
1. Overwhelmingly (90%) of men are happy with whatever the status of their penises is (cut or uncut).
2. About 60% of terbites (Canadian men) are cut.
3. Women prefer men to be cut by about 60% - the same as the percentage of cut men.
4. 1 in 20 cut men wish they weren't cut, whereas 1 in 10 uncut men wish they were circumcised.
5. Only 3% of men seem to be unhappy that they were circumcised. This means that the anti-circ agitation by certain groups is pure bs.
