This is an interesting poll. My parents decided to not circumcise me when I was born and since it was the "normal" thing to do where my parents were from, I was continuously made fun of by my male cousins and uncles while I was growing up. When I was 11 my parents had a talk with me and asked if I would like to get circumcised. I jumped at the opportunity to finally be "normal" and I had it done in the summer so that I could recover in time for school in September. Looking back on things, it was definitely the wrong decision, since as an 11 year old all I wanted was for the teasing to stop. The whole procedure and recovery makes for a pretty entertaining story nowadays that has people either tearing up in laughter or cringing in sympathy and I can laugh about it now, but it hurt like hell at the time.

I was uncut as a baby, but had the circumcision done about 6 months ago due to medical reasons (I was in constant pain due to stretching/tearing of foreskin). The procedure was very quick, but the recovery, especially the first 3 days was painful, especially at nighttime when you got those erections with those stiches still in. After about 5 days, the pain was mostly gone. Getting used to briefs/boxers was challenging, and took a couple of weeks, as I was still very sensitive down there. For the first week or two, I was walking very gingerly, pretty much like a cowboy. I ended up taking 2 weeks off from work, as I wore very loose clothing and was not able to wear the business attire. At about the third week things got better and I became used to the lack of foreskin. I also had to refrain from sex for 8 weeks.

Post op
For me, it is more hygienic and a lot easier to maintain.
For me, sex was better. The sensation was different and more ladies were willing to give me BBBJ than before the op.

For me, I am happier with the status of my cock after circumcision, but I believe that the choice should be left to the individual when he becomes an adult.

Are the risks really worth it?

http://www.circumcision.org/hiv.htm

"American circumcision studies have found dozens of "benefits," from treating epilepsy and masturbation in the late 1800s to preventing sexually transmitted diseases today.(10) Though such claims generally do not withstand scrutiny by medical policy committees, their continued publication over the years has led to medical myths while raising questions about some researchers' motives. American researchers tend to avoid studying or acknowledging the sexual and psychological harm associated with circumcision.(11) This pro-circumcision bias in American medicine reflects the pro-circumcision bias in American culture. The United States is the only country in the world that circumcises most (56%) of its male infants for non-religious reasons.(12) When Europeans learn about this, they think we're crazy.

Knowledge of studies on circumcision harm is important to properly evaluating advisability. There is strong evidence that circumcision is overwhelmingly painful and traumatic.(13) Some infants do not cry because they go into shock. Infants exhibit behavioral changes after circumcision. Changes in pain response have been demonstrated at six months of age, evidence of lasting neurological effects and a symptom of post-traumatic stress disorder.(14) Anesthetics, if used, do not eliminate circumcision pain.(15)

The common American belief is that the foreskin has no value. That's because most American circumcised men (and doctors) do not know what they are missing. Based on recent reports, circumcision removes up to one-half of the erogenous tissue on the penile shaft, equivalent to approximately twelve square inches on an adult.(16) Medical studies have shown that the foreskin protects the head of the penis, enhances sexual pleasure, and facilitates intercourse. Cutting off the foreskin removes several kinds of specialized nerves and results in thickening and progressive desensitization of the outer layer of the tip of the penis, particularly in older men.(17) In a survey of men who were circumcised after they became sexually active, there was a reported decrease in sexual enjoyment after circumcision.(18) One described it as like seeing in black and white compared to seeing in color. If you have less, you feel less. Circumcision removes the five most sensitive parts of the penis.(19) (For this reason, many circumcised men are reluctant to use condoms because it contributes to further decreased sensation. Reduced condom usage adversely affects the HIV infection rate.) In a survey of those with comparative sexual experience, women preferred the natural penis over the circumcised penis by 6 to 1.(20) "

I have maintained for some time that physicians cannot be trusted. They keep changing their minds so often and can be politically influenced. Furthermore, whatever the WHO says should be taken with a grain of salt.

Well you have to trust someone and at leat your physicians motives are honest which is more than I can say for WHO.

I suspicious of anyone, and there are several in this thread, who are overly emotionally invested in this topic. As long as you are happy with what you have , or don't have, is it really anyone's right to tell the next guy what he should do?

Crystal B says "get cut." She had a boyfriend who got his uncircumcised penis cut during their relationship and the cut penis was an improvement.
LMAO! She didn't seem to mind my uncuttedness.

No, mine neither, but I confided to her I was considering circumcision and she told me to do it, the cock is clean and better looking. I haven't gotten the operation, as it would be expensive and time consuming, besides, I injured my penis in a sporting accident some years ago and am reticent to do anymore weird shit to it. I came back to this thread because it is mentioned in the poll, that women might have a preference. Most of them seem to like it cut because it is less likely to smell and it looks like the penis they know from experience and the popular media. But you should never alter ANYTHING on or in your body for a woman. You should always be yourself, get fit for yourself, build abs for yourself, circumcise your penis for yourself. If the woman likes it, that's a great benefit, but they are vain and fickle creatures. Wednesday is another decade from Tuesday and you should not pay a moment's heed to their input on the question of circumcision. Women make good friends, wives, coworkers, bedpartners but they will always be women and we will always be men who are not gender confused. You gotta be you and you gotta know fraternity. Women will fuck with your life, mind and body. Oppression of women is reversible and no clever man should fall victim to the whim, fanciful preference or desire of some chicky-boo giggling broad in eyeshadow and hairspray.
Honestly and as God is my witness, I have no idea what all this non-sense about circumcision is about? I've been around the block a few times and on a couple of occassions have had the opportunity to have sex with some real knockouts outside of the hobby world. These women were as picky as they come. In my lifetime I have never heard a comment about not being circumsized.

And for a service provider to be so cavalier about having surgery performed on your most private of parts is rather irresponsible.

Agreed.

The first two weeks after the op, it is just too sensitive down there, and god those erections while the stitches were on, gave me heart attacks lol and felt like my penis was gonna rupture and explode !

The pain was excruciating at times but in the end, I was happy with the results. Feels like a new penis.

Does Crystal offer BJ with her massage?

On a related note, never trust what a woman says when a comparison can be made with her boyfriend/husband. If her athletic washboard stomach highschool sweetheart develops a hairy beer gut over the years, she'll claim that she's always loved hairy beer guts on men.

Despite Canada-man's obsession to save the world's foreskins, terbites don't care on little bit (snipped?) about his rantings.

Of terbites, one in 21 cut guys want their foreskins back, whereas one in eight guys with a foreskin would like it to snipped. Pretty overwhelming, eh!
