Did none of you read the last line of the article where it says, "The preceding article was a piece of satirical fiction."?

It was a joke - in case you don't know what satirical fiction means...

in the nhl, why didn't Minnesota sue Dallas, or Hartford sue Carolina, or Quebec sue Colorado???

the fact that New Orleans is suing the hornets is a funny one, considering the mayor et al., wanted the Hornets to continue play and supported the move in the first place....

hehe, actually I did not read the last line. That explains why there were no other articles on the internet.

Anyway, you can't blame me. Worse lawsuits have been filed and won in the past. True stories that is.

Have you heard the one in Canada where a girl attended a company party, drank, left the party, went to a bar and drank some more? She got into an accident and sued her boss for allowing her to leave and she won. Apparently, the bar had no responsibility since it was liscenced to sell alcohol. (True story btw)

Chris Paul had a lot more to do with the Hornets' improvement than Oklahoma City. Maybe part of the suit will be that the Hornets won too many games, thus hurting their chances for a higher draft pick this year.

The company actually made sure she got home. She then went out again, drank at the bar, had the accident, and the bar was found partly liable for serving her while she was drunk. The bar went bankrupt as a result, and drinks served at office parties dried up.
