Rogers just bought FIDO for $1.4 billion.

Be interesting to see what Ted Rogers now does with his deal with the Devil Dog.....Hound from Hell

I doubt Rogers will keep the CityFido plan for long. I'm trying to decide if I should get a contract.

Booo Fido...

I use to have Fido a couple of years ago. The reception sucked big time. So I switched over to Telus. I have to say of all the cell phone companies (I have tried them all over the years) Telus is for me the best. Best most clear reeption and best customer service as well.

no need for the 416.. the number works without an area code
Thank you, for the clarification, I was aware of this point, however one time I posted 310-dell, somewhere else and I got these messages about what the area code was , blah, blah, so I put it in.

In fact it does not affect getting through to put the 416 in front of 310-bell or dell and so on.

Also, I got a pm from someone and to clarify I am on the unlimited plan, but it is discontinued now. They had a cheaper unlimited plan last June for Fido customers, who had at least 2 bills, gsm phone to trade, etc. Thats over, so there no unlimited plans now, to my knowledge for the general public, etcetera.

:)

At the range!!!
My buddy (Roger's director) said that the deal isn't signed yet, the shareholders still have to vote on it.

I am with Telus. Never had a problem with them. In fact I would encourage everyone to switch over. Isn't telus supposed to be the best one out there right now?
