There is no evidence presented that they were infact narco terrorists.
There is no such thing as narco 'terrorists'.
they were investigated. and of course you won't see the evidence you want as it's going to be classified...woulld you request all the military operations under Obama and Biden and expect to have it on your desk by tomorrow?
There is no investigations, Hegsmeth just said 'kill them all'.
But you also think trump is the anti war president.

Immigration is a shit show. It's been a shit show that's been building and it hit a crescendo the last few years.

Now I don't know why you would repeat arguments that aren't based on facts on the ground. I have told you and others it's so easy to check information before you post it. This might reveal your real purpose is less than forthright.

So no, not everyone wants illegal immigrants who commit crimes deported out of the U.S. Don't ask me why. It would appear to be Red cities and states pandering to extreme views on immigration.

Per Google AI:
As of early December 2025, there are approximately
7,113 illegal immigrants with active U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainers currently in the custody of New York state or local jurisdictions, meaning they are in local jails or state prisons for other criminal charges.

Key Details
  • Number in Custody: Over 7,000 illegal immigrants with active ICE detainers are currently being held in New York jails and prisons on various criminal charges.
  • Crimes Alleged: According to data from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and ICE, these individuals are associated with a wide range of serious offenses, including 148 homicides, 717 assaults, 152 weapons offenses, and 260 sexual predatory offenses.
  • Sanctuary Policies: New York's sanctuary policies generally prohibit local law enforcement and jails from holding individuals solely on the basis of a civil immigration detainer without a judicial warrant. This has led to tension between federal and state/local authorities.
  • Released Individuals: Since January 20, 2025, New York jurisdictions have released nearly 7,000 other criminal illegal immigrants back into the community who had active ICE detainers, rather than transferring them to federal custody upon their release from local charges. The crimes associated with this group included 29 homicides and numerous other violent felonies.
  • Federal Action: ICE has called on New York authorities, including Attorney General Letitia James, to honor their detainer requests to ensure that these individuals are transferred to federal custody for potential deportation proceedings rather than being released onto the streets.
This does not disprove my comment. However, it does illustrate an issue between states and the federal government. Keep in mind, the GOP loves to trump up the importance of states rights when it comes to things they care about, like abortion. But, when it comes to whether a state should help ICE, they are certainly pro-federalism.

So, looking at the New York stuff, that is basically an issue that New York does not have mandatory holds for undocumented people. Which means unless the ICE folks have a judicial warrant, the state has no need to hold them. Is this good or bad, I'm not sure. But, the reality is that if a New York judge felt that they were deserving to be freed on bail, so be it. That does not mean the state of New York wants violent offenders (documented or not) roaming the streets. But, it is a recognition that the bail system could be broken (i.e., the judges are more willing to grant peace bonds or bail to avoid the crazy over crowding at places like Riker's Island, where some poor bastard spent nearly two years waiting for his case to be heard for allegedly shop lifting a back pack).

It should also be pointed out that the ICE requests are civil immigration detainers, not signed by a judge. Has New York state made mistakes? Probably.

But, my point here, with facts for your pleasure, is that the vast majority of people caught by ICE now are not violent criminals:

.

Now, ICE, because they've been given the greenlight to racially profile people, has detained at least 170 American citizens.

That is pretty fucked up. How close were they to deporting someone?

@silentkisser

I am following up on the post above but it is a response to all the members fascinated with the idea that immigration is a major swing issue in the 2026 midterm elections.

For a moment, let's forget your argument that everyone wants illegals who have committed crimes to be deported. That leaves the Democrats having to make the case that all law-abiding illegals should be allowed to stay in the U.S. I don't think that's what most Americans and Canadians want as policy. It's easy to say that this policy is not sustainable in the long-run. It's basically saying if you can get here you can stay. Of course, no liberal politician ever will explicitly say that.

For curiousity, I Googled Canada deportation 2025. You can see it below.

Canada is deporting more people in 2025, particularly those whose refugee claims have been rejected, with significant enforcement actions targeting certain nationalities like Indian nationals due to issues like fraudulent study permits and illegal work.
Enforcement measures include a new cost recovery framework for removals, a proposal for stricter border and immigration laws through Bill C-12, and increased cooperation with other countries like the United States to send back asylum seekers
I think there is an important distinction to be made here. It isn't like Dems are pro-undocumented, or promote open borders, despite what the right-wing politicians and media say. It is the recognition that the US economy is greased by the cheap labour provided by undocumented workers. I'm not saying its a good thing, but the reality is that many industries in the US rely on this to operate. As I mentioned, the hospitality industry relies a lot on cheap labour to clean hotel rooms or work in kitchens. Many small businesses use them for things like landscaping or construction/roofing. Farms across the country rely on them to pick crops. And we've seen anecdotal evidence that many of these businesses have been hurt by the mass deportation.

As for saying that if someone stays in the US for years and not be deported....I'm not certain that's a bad thing. Let me give an example: The person crosses illegally, but over the past 20 years has worked hard and never broken the law. They might get married and have a family. They pay taxes and what not, but literally never see any benefit (because they might pay into social security, they can never use it). Far from being a leech on the system, they actually support it, helping to sustain it. They could be a small business owner. If you opened up a path to citizenship for them, would that be the worst thing? I don't think so.

Also, I should also say that I am by no means an expert or have any bright ideas on how to fix the system in Canada of the US. In regards to the Canadian stuff, we all know the system was abused (both by industry and individuals). I have no issue with folks being deported for fraudulently coming here. But I also have no issues with the government taking in legit refugees and immigrants. Obviously Canada and the US have different issues. We don't see thousands of south Americans coming across our border (for the most part).

No they weren't.
They also double tapped 2 survivors of the strike which is a violation of both international and US law.
again, Generals have briefed Sec Hegseth that the boat was surveilled... This no difference than obama operation in Libya...we won't get to see evidence because they will h ave it classified...

It does seem like a battle between MAGA using white replacement fear to rage farm their base into voting vs a corporate culture that relies on cheaper, non union labour to stay profitable.

Same as here with Timmies continually requesting TFW's because they are just a bit cheaper than Canadians but willing to put up with more crap while we also watch DoFo and Carney fight back against anti immigrant fears associated with rising unemployment and higher housing costs.

Politicians struggle to play both sides at once.

True.
That exact example of what is not acceptable is in US DoD Law of War Manual. David French, a conservative columnist and former military JAG quoted it in the NY Times: Here's his quote:

To make this case, I have to begin in the most boring way possible — by quoting a legal manual. Bear with me.
Specifically, it’s the most recent edition of the Department of Defense Law of War Manual. Tucked away on page 1,088 are two sentences that illustrate the gravity of the crisis in the Pentagon: “The requirement to refuse to comply with orders to commit law of war violations applies to orders to perform conduct that is clearly illegal or orders that the subordinate knows, in fact, are illegal. For example, orders to fire upon the shipwrecked would be clearly illegal.”
Here’s another key line: “It is forbidden to declare that no quarter will be given.” A no quarter order is an order directing soldiers to kill every combatant, including prisoners, the sick and the wounded. The manual continues, “Moreover, it is also prohibited to conduct hostilities on the basis that there shall be no survivors, or to threaten the adversary with the denial of quarter."

For the record.

Hegseth explicitly said "Kill them all".
It is a war crime.

And I'm quoting a conservative JAG who's quoting the bloody manual itself!
Shocking how that very example of killing the shipwrecked is in the damn manual.

This is what happens when you put lipstick on a pig like Hegseth - an insecure, wannabe tough guy, and give him some power.
He was probably foaming at the mouth to order that air strike and show everybody what a badass he really was.

Faux tough guys are like that. I've worked with some of the toughest blokes around and they absolutely don't talk like hegseth or like those bro boy Podcasters etc. Real tough guys just carry it. They have no need to throw it around.

The Guardian attained a copy of the legal memo they used, which is total nonsense.
They claimed they did the killing at the behest of other countries who clearly did not request the murders.

Trump gives his own White House ballroom architect the boot after clashes: report

President Donald Trump fired his own ballroom architect after clashing with an architect over expanding the project.

The boutique architecture firm led by James McCrery II was reportedly replaced after three months when questions surfaced over whether the group could manage the large-scale plan, The Washington Post reported Thursday.

"It is unclear whether McCrery stepped back voluntarily, but the men parted on good terms and remain so, according to one of the people familiar with the project, all of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal conversations," The Post reported.

Trump apparently wanted to increase the size and scope of the project, "but it was McCrery’s firm’s small workforce and inability to hit deadlines that became the decisive factor in him leaving," a source told the outlet.

The president has decided that architect Shalom Baranes will take over the job. Baranes' design firm has designed and renovated government buildings in Washington, D.C. for decades and has taken on projects that include the main Treasury building near the White House and the General Services Administration headquarters.

The $300 million ballroom is one of the largest renovations expected at the White House and follows the demolition of the East Wing, the historic corridor and location of the former first lady's office. Trump has also signaled plans to renovate the National Mall.

Hey man, you have Radio Free Mandrill with over 800,000 views on another thread.
Don't worry we've got the usual suspects here posting everything they can about Trump.

Fascists come in all colours.
I said racist because again that seems to be the foundation of your fascist critique.
Your argument gets murkier when one starts to notice Trump has good relations and supports various groups of color, but does not feel obligated to hold back disdain for illegal immigration, drug runners and Islamic terrorists of a similar racial profile. There isn't the Mein Kampf in the drawer you are opening.
