ICE detained people going through the legal process as they told they should, going so far as to arrest people at court for following the government's own guidelines.
That's fascist.

When illegal immigrants go through the government process to become legal and are instead arrested, its a problem.

No, you think illegal immigrants living in the US illegally should automatically receive US citizenship.
How is that fair to the legal applicants who have to go through the 5-year process??

They are all illegal until they've gone through the process.
And all subject to ICE deportation/arrest regardless of doing the process or not.

It is fair because they have lived on average excess of 10 years while being otherwise good citizens.
It doesn't even have to be citizenship. Maybe Green card or another transitional legal status?
Far better outcomes than ripping apart families, deportations without due process etc.,
