Todays Buffalo News has a couple sex industry stories. Looks like the feds closed down the AMP's they missed a few months ago. I will miss Golden Accupressure as I have been a faithful client for more than 10 years. They had the best table shower in the area.

And an escort service was being run by a state employee on state time.

Its so nice to be able to go to Canada and participate in the pleasures of life without worrying about being busted.

I wonder if papasmerf was rounded up? If not, maybe this will push him across the border?

What's particularly troubling about this one is that the U.S. Attorney's Office Human Trafficking Task Force was involved in these raids.
While prostitution and pimping are local offenses, smuggling women into the country and forcing them to work as prostitutes as indentured servants, is federal.

If there is an interstate or international aspect, the feds will jump in, and since prostitution is a target of the Christian fundamentalist-funded Bush administration, there will be increasingly more federal aspects conjured up to wipe out this scourge.

The state worker running an escort service will probably remain local, as I don't see how that affects interstate commerce.

It is troubling to me in a number of ways. That anyone is being forced against their will to work as a sex worker, that it adds fuel to those who believe every sp must some how be forced into it. That the whole thing may spread the U.S. Attorney's Office usually doesn't get involved in "small fry" cases.
