Prior to the internet review boards I remember hearing these types of stories. Nowadays not so much so.

I always suspected it was largely to keep girls in line.

Did it happen, does it happen.

What do you think of the practice?

What happens more now is a male owner of Agency A will go check out girl at Agency B, although even that doesn't happen that much any more.

There are plenty of "friends" that visit girls on the roster for the ladies fee portion only but more for the friend, not the owner.

But the "quality control" type sessions I think are far less then before internet times. What happens more now is a couple of clients that are known and good to the agency will a TOFTT type sessions for new girls.

The escorting version of 'Undercover Boss' ? Similar scenario ... an agency owner can't really go undercover so he asks a client to do it for him? Does the client get incentives to do this? It doesn't seem very nice to me but hell... business is business I guess.
I agree it depends on why they are doing it.

some reasons are understandable.... e.g. quality

some reasons are not so nice..... e.g. making sue the girl isn't pocketing more money for example let's say there are upgrades that the boss gets a cut of .... how would the boss ever know if the client asked for the upgrade.

Yup, if you become trusted enough not to talk, owners will ask you to help test girls as quality control. Some waive door fees, some don't.

Wanting to deliver the 'goods'
Isn't this the same as a mystery shopper?
Exactly. I have been approached, in the past, by MP owners to book an appointment with a 'new' girl and then provide them with some feedback on my experience.

I found it occurs when the owner has received, or heard, negative feedback about a recent hire and wants to get some more info from a reliable source. In at least one instance the girl was rumoured to be offering FS at the MP and the owner was concerned about LE.

The management at Trinity group Strip clubs work with the Peel Regional cops. Undercover cops show up as mystery shoppers and record the stage names and physical description of the dancers offering extras in the clubs. All offending girls have been fired and will not be reinstated until they got clearance from the regional police.

That does it I am not writing anymore reviews. Why do it for free. Where do I send my resume and cover letter.

"I'm a people person and if I had to say that I had a flaw it's that I'm a perfectionist. By the way what is the salary and how many holidays do I get."

As someone else pointed out with the internet the need to do the mystery shopper is less than before.

Talking about "free" reviews written on internets, one time the Peel Regional cops stumbled on one of free public sex industry websites and presented the dancer reviews to the management. The management let go all dancers who were reported offering extras over that past 3 year time period. I believe some of those girls are still barred from going back. Guess you can ask some of the former Trinity Club girls at The Pro.

how do you know so much about what Peel Regional Police are up to...Officer?
Its so well known.

One dancer/waitress was caught by the undercover and she could waitress (she quit waitressing a while back) but is not allowed to dance. She told any customers who wanted to listen to go talk to the management to let her return dancing to made ends meet but was told no unless she got clearance first with the cops. She was given the phone number to contact the cop herself and the cop said no. There are many more. Just go talk to the girls at Club Pro or Kennedy.

Internet? There are ton of well known cases. 2 of my ATF Chinese or oriental girls were kicked out because of the internet posts. Another one was a very well known girl who also advertised on incall and outcall service at that time. These internet posts were shown to the girls when they were fired. Those 3 girls are known names in our terb strip club forum. Similar to the dancers who were caught by undercovers, they are told to contact Peel Regional cops if they want to be re-instated.
