Cmd, Ie & Wtf?

Hey guys and gals I need your help,

Every once in a while, 3 or 4 times a day, cmd.exe will start up and launch a blank IE window. I've checked with my anti-virus, Avast, and with Ad-Aware and both indicate that nothing is wrong. Nothing malicious seems to be hppening.

Any ideas?

Yes, they are vastly superior. But be advised if you do, it will drain all technical knowledge from you through your fingertips and you will start wearing "Earth Shoes" and drinking tofu smoothies. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)
