Hello gentlemen.

I'm curious to know what the average wait time is for CMJ to respond to a new membership request through their website?

I have applied twice now, first time being last Friday as of this post, and have not heard back from them.

Is this normal or should I be worried?

I would not worry. You could just call too

Just give them a call and book an orientation. That is the easiest and fastest way. I don't think the website is monitored as frequently as one would hope.

I have thought about getting a membership, I am just concerned about privacy in having to provide personel information. Sites get hacked all the time, I would be concerned if they have that information, it might get out.

Just find a CMJ MA you are interested and contact them through their Twitter account - most have them. You can go as their (anonymous) guest.

They didn't require any real information in the past, anymore than the Brass Club did. I would never provide any if that was a requirement, for just the reasons you mentioned.

None of the details are online, they are paper copies that are kept at a lawyer's office so they are protected and privileged.
